But I think she already give it to Cover as part of the bid to get in the agency. But even if she didn't, she need Cover to get to her Budokan stage, so she's one I never see quitting before that happen.

In other news Calliope seems to really have made an impression on Lui. I can't tell how much of it is corporate / general japanese politeness, but they both seemed to genuinely have fun together.
Good for them, maybe Lui is the bridge Calli needs to get closer to more JP members - lots of potential for off-collabs since she's already in Japan anyway.

Japan has what what's called Moral rights, and Economic rights.
Moral rights are non-transferrable, so this means that Suisei will always be the author of her own character, and is in control of how it's published. Exercising those right can however be waived by a contract, thought it sounds like it's more related to creating works while employed or under contract, not if you created it before then.
Economic right can be transferred without any restrictions, and basically gives the right to decide how to monetize the work.

So her control of the character entirely depends on what the contract says. If she signed away her economic rights of her character completely to Cover, she's basically screwed. They would be able to sue her if she tried to monetize her original design, unless they give the rights back to her.

Just in case there were any lingering reserves of Hopium, Calli basically confirmed on her Twitter that the Myth 3D debuts are paywalled behind the event.

Calli has said that she will have extra stuff she can show off immediately afterwards. The same might not be true for everyone as she's the only one that lives near the studio.

I'm a little disappointed because I still support Calli and wanted to see her get the same 'All eyes on you' event the Japanese get. No doubt it's a compromise they had to make due to COVID, but it still comes off as wrong note.
