Was she just Spielberg's & Lucas's personal cum dumpster or something? Did she give head that good she deserves an EP on everyone of their films? Was that the reason why Lucas put her in charge of his company do to how much of a talentless whore she was?

Reading this article, it sounds like it’s Furloni’s fault that this series became a Galaxy trotting adventure:
Sources note that Filoni and Favreau were concerned about Obi-Wan covering similar ground as Mandalorian — the Lone Wolf and Cub-like story of Kenobi coming out of hiding to protect a child-aged Luke Skywalker. Maul was one of the villains who would participate in the hunt for the pair; Vader was nowhere to be found in this faraway galaxy at this stage, according to those with knowledge of the project. Also, Filoni and Favreau pushed Chow and the show to “go bigger,” according to several sources. In any case, those concerns made their way to Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy, who pressed the pause button. (Joby Harold was eventually hired as the show’s new writer.)

And of course it was his idea to insert his OCs from Rebels:
In the overhaul, however, Maul was written out. One source says it was Filoni that conceptually keyed in on a way for Vader to be brought back as the big bad, with the Grand Inquisitor, a character made popular by Filoni in the animated series Star Wars Rebels, also put into the story.

I suspect her talent lies in supporting the creative talent to get their vision of the film to the screen. She lucked onto Spielberg and had a long run of helping good film-makers make their films. Maybe part of her talent was not trying to put too much input into the material. Just support.

She definitely let RJ make the film he wanted. She should have been overseeing the consistency of the trilogy and she was not doing that at all.

She let Lord and Miller make almost an entire movie before deciding to scrap it. How much oversight and input could she have had?

One thing to consider is that with Lucas hired her to take over Lucasfilm. He was expecting to still be around in a creative role with the new films.

Then he got pushed out and no one was hired for creative oversight.

Has anyone got an idea on what there is a PR strategy is of telling us all know there were script issues and challenges?

Is it aimed at getting us to lower our expectations?

Or is it some pre-emptive 4D chess and PR for KK because the shows great?

Some speculation. I bet anything will be on the cards for this. Flashbacks to the Clone Wars with the actors deaged. As if Filoni wouldn't be pushing for a chance to have live action Clone Wars.

They could probably get Natalie Portman to make a small appearance because she's working for the mouse with Thor.

Qui-Gon as a force ghost taking to Obi-Wan. To help explain why Obi-Wan was ok sacrificing himself. He knows he can still guide Luke. As well as leaning into the explanation of The Duel of Fates that Filoni gave on that round table behind the scenes show.

From everything I've read that sounds about right. Almost every movie Kathleen worked on she never seemed to have as much creative control as Spielberg, Lucas, or her husband Frank Marshall. The only thing she was ever really good at was letting talented directors do what they wanted for the most part. This completely backfires when you let untalented directors like JJ and Rian do whatever they want. All they have to do is inject the right amount of Star Wars references, D&I, and feminist messaging. None of this translates to the movies themselves being actually good mind you.

JJ was suggested by Spielberg and I guess she sought out Rian herself for god knows whatever reason. JJ and KK didn't get along that well so he took as much of TFA to Bad Robot as he could. Rogue One is still confusing as shit to me and it seems more like higher Disney had a problem with it than Kathleen herself. I remember hearing that she absolutely couldn't stand Lord and Miller though, and I don't know why she still hired them on and got them to shoot a majority of their movie until Kasdan decided to act like a little bitch and complained they were changing his terrible script. I don't know/don't care about TROS. At the end of the day, she could only do as much as Iger and higher Disney let her, which was way too much.

According to Kennedy's claims in Vanity Fairy, she was the assistant of a producer during the filming of 1941 who got promoted because Spielberg liked her rude "bold" attitude of constantly questioning him supposedly.

As far as I can tell, they were most definitely shagging.

She, Alan Horn and Iger have been an unholy trinity for this franchise, and even with Horn and Iger moving on, she and Chapek are still just as determined to continue things as is and making the same mistakes, although Chapek is surprisingly being even more incompetent.

You know they'll do it. They want to turn this Disney+ cavalcade into a cinematic universe like the MCU and want Ahsoka to be their Sgt. Fury for the big gay crossover event they have planned for their replacement Thrawn Trilogy, so she's going to be in everything.
