It's really all about perception. Ever since EN debuted it was always easier to dislike Kiara and Mori. Kiara because of her absolutely unending numberfagging that would at times bleed over into a pity party. At this point I don't remember the specific times it happened, but I distinctly remember the awkward feelings I had watching Kiara turn milestones for her genmates into 'woe is me' sad fests. I'm pretty sure it didn't even happen more than a couple of times but that has always stuck with me. Also it doesn't help that she sounds abrasive because of that germanic dialect so everything sounds worse than it's intended to be, and the fact that she can say some awkward stuff to begin with. Don't forget the chicken voice either, and a number of other little things that just rubbed people the wrong way. All of this made her the easiest target for the doomposting.
However, Mori also received quite a bit of hate herself because of the reasons everyone else has mentioned above, but remember, she was also joined at the hip to Kiara because of the TakaMori garbage. Those two were a package deal and they were easily the most disliked pair on the EN side because they were already individually disliked, and then they were extremely hard to watch when they were together because that 'ship' really felt forced. The antithesis of this feeling back then was watching GurAme, or right now watching BaeRys. While she had people that enjoyed her music it was only a small part of her presence, as she mostly streamed, so that average holo fan mostly experienced the Mori cringe 98% of the time.
So why didn't someone abrasive like Amelia Watson get the same treatment as Kiara? Ame was pretty cringe during debut so how come she wasn't hated on like Mori? I think, like I said at the beginning, it's all about perception. Sure, Ame can be prickly and she has had a couple of brushes with the rrat machine, but it was usually kinda funny or at least she usually got sassy with some retards in chat who were asking for it. It felt less cunty because of her tone and how long it would go on for, and because she's had to hardcore tardwrangle her chat and turn them from a twitch chat into a 'normal' vtuber simp chat. She pretty much turned her disaster debut into lore and then showed up being a weird sweet gremlin character. She got a load of latitude from the general hololive fanbase because it felt like she was bringing much more to the table over the vast negative perceptions of the TakaMori unit.
These days I'm pretty sure most people have seen Kiara either care less about, or hide, her numberfaggotry, and they should've have seen by this point how much she cares about the rest of EN. She's always willing to help anyone in Holo if possible. Mori has consistently shown how much she likes all her new friends and how she's gotten way better at finding enjoyment in her job in general. The issue with Mori that keeps pushing me away from her is that I feel like every few months I start to warm up to her, only for her to do something that I just think is either retarded or needlessly disrespectful.
TL;DR First impressions do matter to an extent, and even though Kiara and Mori have gotten better they are still the easiest targets because of their past actions that affect us still today, and in Mori's case it is sometimes her present actions lmao.

Idk I might have to agree with Weeb on this one. Maybe it depends on the definition of 'peak /vt/' but the lengths that some of those retards went to, just to find out that they were being, uh, 'cucked' I guess? By some average looking asian guy was hilarious. However, the best part in my opinion is that the guy was smug enough to mark his twitter location as "with ur waifu lole" as if he was proud of it, but I'm pretty sure they ended up actually breaking things off because of that incident anyway. Because the crazies were out there trying to get at him. So, in some ways, /vt/ kinda won that fight, and that would almost impressive if it wasn't so utterly sad. It was also the birth of the 'Gura is getting blacked' rrat because they misidentified some black guy as the person she used to stream with as Senzawa.Disagree, that'd be the Mori Calliope Brap Tapes.
