About 1/10 if she were a regular journo, it's national tv. But she got the job in 2002 as a parting gift from her then-65-year-old john, and used to be in the running for editor-in-chief of RT. They want to keep the infrastructure in-tact if anything. Do you know the number one thing to kill off a population or make them submit? Starvation. Block all their supplies, keep them paranoid, in fear, and uncertain.

Furthermore, they wouldn't be screaming for all these foreign volunteers if things were going swimmingly. Who the fuck says, "Please come help us, we'll pay you a really good wage for our country," if they're winning and the maps are showing Russia is encroaching further and further?

Putin is very mad and he's a man. The USA fomented a revolution in Ukraine in 2014 - and as someone posted a picture from the DPR - the people in Ukraine have been cutting people's heads off from there - people who pledged their loyalty to Russia. The Azov or whatever they were were posted numerous times as actual Nazis (yes, they made their symbol the SS) and were cutting heads off.

Ukraine says it wants to become a NATO nation - NATO was founded to stop and curb the Soviet Union (AKA Russia). Russia views this as a threat and moves in before they can. The USA provoked them.

Is the war right? I don't agree with all the people suffering, but it's come out the Azov were blocking and preventing civilians from leaving, increasing civilian casualties, and that the Ukrainian army has been committing fucking war-crimes by trying to hide out in areas that are not supposed to be targeted like hospitals and schools. They are after optics and blaming Russia when they turn safe areas into shelling areas with their presence.

In short, holy fuck, I've never seen people this stupid or blinded by propaganda. Nothing is ever black and white and so clear cut as good guys and bad guys (most times). You just choose who you side with, but that's no excuse for overlooking any horrors they may commit. I am not Pro-Russian, either.

Thanks for clearing that up, lol. If Russia's goal is to starve the population, why would they be bringing them food/rations (as reported in Russian news)? Is this just Russian propoganda?

I think it's the whole uncanny valley situation of crisp HD completely going against how things look in real life. Something about how sharp the image is and the colours popping out more than what you're used to seeing as real.

That art gallery shooting from years back felt similar because gallery lighting is nothing like regular lighting.

Here's my hot take.

The Ukrainian government were and are fools. Instead of being smart and staying neutral or accepting something akin to findlandiazation they choose the stupid option. They have no allies, poked the bear and are getting mauled. Even the last Russian demands before the invasion will be better than whatever the Russians extract from them when this all over.

Imagine what they could have done. A neutral country that plays both the EU/US and Russia off each other. They could have used economic and trade deals to start a bidding war for influence and investment in Ukraine even though they have nothing everyone seems to want to fight over them. Instead they choose this.
