Thanks for clearing that up, lol. If Russia's goal is to starve the population, why would they be bringing them food/rations (as reported in Russian news)? Is this just Russian propoganda?

They may be killing civilians, they might be taking care of those who surrender, I don't know because it's kinda difficult to check that with everything blocked. I have Russian friends on Discord who I'm chatting to, but I don't get any info unless they're sure of something. I did ask, they don't know if it's just propaganda either.

For the sake of sheer drama I want this conflict to last as long as possible. I get to see more Zelensky coping as the tanks draw closer, I get to see more Russians get an entire regiment turned into hamburger paste thanks to retarded tactics and I get to see the world get slightly and slightly less interested in the conflict as the days pass.

Ideally I want the whole conflict to last for more than 3 months so McDonalds has to awkwardly start reopening their stores while Ukraininans are starving to death.

Russia will probably end up beating Ukraine if NATO\EU doesn't get directly involved. But I don't see how Russia thinks it's going to pull itself out of this mess. If they beat Ukraine, I assume they will install a puppet government that recognizes Crimea and the Pro Russian regions as being sovereign Russian territory. But who in Ukraine is going to take that sitting down? Russia would have to continue their occupation of Ukraine for years making sure no one tries to over through their puppet and disarm the Ukrainian military with a new one. But I don't see even a single Ukrainian being supported of the puppet government and would just defect as soon as Russia leaves like what happened in Afghanistan. One top of all of that, the amount of shit their in with world leaves Russia in a particularly bad place with their economy and will only continue to get worse as no one would want to associate themselves with Russia for decades to come. What is even the win condition Putin has in his mind?

Spot on. This is why I considered Putin and Russia already lose in this war. Sure, they still would win militarily, but in politics and economics they already lost the war the moment the West united and supported Ukraine

Same reason I didn't think there would be a war. The US has been doing its utmost to piss everyone off. All Russia is doing is making NATO relevant and torpedoing their economy. And they were THIS close to making Europe reliant on Russian gas and oil.

Yup, whatever legacy Putin had in mind, its all gone now. Russia is weaker than ever since the chaos of Soviet Dissolution. Their military is now called weak and inefficient, destroying years of PR and propaganda efforts. Both NATO and EU is going stronger, united, and more independent. Putin's legacy is all but gone now

Call me heartless then, because the moment I realize it is Propoganda I not only find myself unfazed by it, I find myself actively disgusted by the person who would use images like that to try to get Nato to cause World War 3. Zelensky knows the exact kind of response he is trying to fish for with images of dead children and he deserves a special place in the pits of hell for using the bodies of his own people to propagandize the west
