This is what puzzles me. How is that money and the other billions they have already poured in effective to aiding Ukraine? who gets access to the money/accounts/check/etc. on the ground and how can they even use it? is it an extra step so the Ukies can buy weapons from other countries just so the Russians don't just say NATO is giving arms to Ukraine? what assurances are that the money won't just vanish the moment it's sent?

Not saying money is essential in the matter but I just wonder how is actually used here and not just probably a big scam where the right people get paid to keep them loyal, or the US government doing some switcheroo to disperse that money to some anti Russian gay-ops somewhere?

What annoys me most about the blatantly-faked parts of Ukrainian propaganda - both fake stories like all the made-up martyr-heroes and the supposed nuclear power plant fire, as well as the alleged attempts to generate atrocity porn by blocking civvies from escaping and possibly staging false-flag attacks against their own people - is how unnecessary it all is.

Most people are inclined by default to side against the aggressor in a war, and Russia already isn't exactly liked in the West. If the goal was just to get volunteers, supplies, and humanitarian aid, literally all they would have to do is just... tell the truth. But Zelensky seems to think that if he just convinces the world that Putin is actually turboHitler instead of just a wannabe tsar, NATO will bail his arse out by nuking Russia.

Agreed. I'm trying to process the scope here.

All this sounds well and good but then you run into:
1) Who's going to fucking fly this in? The US? A third party?
2) Who on the Ukie's side is going to receive this? They still hold Lwow/Lviv, so they do have safe airfields to receive the supplies but then what? How is it going to reach the frontline troops? Are they using it to arm their new conscripts instead?
3) Where are all these coming from anyway? Is the US emptying their own armouries?

Seems like you’ve perfectly adopted the east European attitude of getting on your knees and begging someone else to fight for you.

At the end of the day, America could guarantee Ukraine’s victory in this war single-handedly, but it won’t because it simply isn’t worth it. Ukraine acted as if it was a core American security interest and could shit on Russia with impunity, it’s not America’s responsibility to bail Ukraine out.

Not so sure we could defeat Russia.
