On Twitter, pedophiles seeking to exchange child pornography and other child sex exploitation images are utilizing secret hashtags to signal their presence and interest to each other. The hashtags #megalinks and #megadump are littered with tweets from otherwise empty accounts offering or soliciting illegal material. One account offered a "megalink" for "£2 to my cashapp," with one of the subsequent hashtags being "underage." The video that accompanied the tweet was a screenshot that included a number of folders, one of which was tilted "CP," short for "child pornography," and another titled "500+teenie videos." These accounts are numerous, and Twitter does little to crack down on their existence in spite of reports.

Other users were more direct, asking specifically for "links" or "trades" of specific ages that interested them. One user requested 14-17 year olds. Another sought to "trade links" for ages 12-17 years old. The trade would happen on Snapchat, another completely innocuous platform. Multiple users are even seeking child pornography which includes rape and necrophilia themes, outright asking for the grotesque content while utilizing the "#young" hashtag.

And yes. I checked the hashtags. They're still there. So, again, explain how Twitter totally cracks down on CP. I'm waiting.

I thought you meant hosting CP. I don't think Twitter has the manpower to start browsing offsite CP. It's completely impractical.

An automated reply is still an official reply. Twitter could have said “it’s under review” instead of saying “nah, this is fine”. There are repercussions for the latter, even if it’s automated. I don’t know anything about CP laws but it’s true for SOX.

DeSantis has said specifically he's not leaving Florida until he finishes his second term as governor and usually you could blow that shit off but Florida is important to win as a Republican, and I can think of a lot of Floridian GOPs who would be really pissed about him dipping on the state too early. Also I think I've heard chatter that there's some electoral college shits about the VP and the Pres from the same state that would kneecap them because of Florida's importance.

Dunno if I've brought this up before or not, but another major issue with Arab militaries is how Islam tends to give the people involved a really strong case of fatalism. As in, 'well, it'll work or it won't and it's the will of Allah'.

I've talked to a few guys who were in Iraq and they stated unequivocally that trying to teach those dumb bastards the virtues of preventative maintenance and regular checkups on gear was a constant battle.
