He said that his ultra IQ Jewish developers found out some way to run the site with a super low budget. I think it sounds like bullshit, a lot of people here probably know it's bullshit, but I'm not a tech expert so I have no idea. If they're spending like $1 a month for upkeep then why isn't twitch doing the same thing?
IIRC, Nick Fuentes's platform uses web-based torrenting. This does dramatically reduce the bandwidth requirements of the site, but it exposes every single viewer's IP address in association with what they're watching. It's the same as a regular torrent, just online.I think @Null could probably give a nice sperg about what he thinks cozy would cost to upkeep. I'll anecdotally say that their cdn is not the greatest, if I go to download a replay using yt-dlp I get really wishy washy rates that top out at like 1.2MB/s and hit as low as 300kb/s which is really not good for a streaming service.
Also, Dalton went live earlier today and I tuned in and he was taking call in and they were talking about shitting your pants. I am looking over the replay and im scanning around this time in the stream and all of the calls i've scanned to have been about shitting your pants. Serious politics btw
I've talked about this being a great idea before but you need the informed consent of the audience and I don't think most people know.
