Calli misplaced her residents visa ID or something. The cops came to her house, but she freaked out and didn't answer the door. She texted a friend who advised her to get a move on it. She's taking Calli to the police station to report the loss or pick it up if they had it in their possession and had tried to return it to her. Dodging the cops the first time wasn't bright but I imagine being a gaijin without ID would be scary. Better to apologize later and bring a local who can vouch for you.

Probably worried that they would kick down her door and strangle her cat before realizing she's not in the USA.

They might have been checking in on a noise complaint or any manner of routine matter, as far as the Visa goes though they'll ask to see it from anyone who is obviously foreign.

and coincidentally after the talk yesterday. Calli just said the final TTRPG session will be at the end of the month now that people are going to be less busy with Holofes being done.

Going to wrap it up in one long session so folks don't have to keep trying to schedule around it. Said doing a game with council in the future is possible but nothing planned.
