That would be a fantastic attack angle. The left regularly stakes out some pretty terrible stances on issues that are unworthy hills to die on, making such an implication not only believable to the uninformed, but true once said individual digs a little.

For Christ’s sake, these are the people who created/own the entire institution of child-trooning (even going as far as to pit kids against parents and creating “transition closets”), and just recently threw a mega-sperg over HB 1557 in FL, with their media allies assisting in the disinformation campaign. Still, their position on that particular issue and public protesting makes it undeniable that they wholeheartedly want sex and gender identity/orientation teachings to be inflicted on kids in Kindergarten through Grade 3. It’s virtually impossible to oppose HB 1557 without looking like a groomer, yet the dems continue to do so to their own detriment.

Utter creeps. And with the democrats pissing off the American Parent voting bloc more than ever, it would be a travesty for the GOP to neglect such a powerful attack angle that can strike at the heart of people who have (and don’t have) kids. I won’t hold my breath…

So my oldest is still in elementary school and the world is different today than it was when I grew up. As such, we’ve had to cover some topics that I didn’t have to deal with when I was her age.

For example, her aunt (my Sister in Law) is a lesbian and my daughter didn’t understand why she had a girlfriend and not a boyfriend. This very difficult conversation consisted of the following:

Me: Some girls like boys and some girls like girls. Some boys like girls and some boys like boys. It’s not a big deal either way and you should be nice to them.

My Daughter : Ok.

The whole thing took less than a minute.

I didn’t glorify anything or shame anyone… this is just the world we live in and frankly she didn’t care that much about it, she just didn’t understand why her aunt had a girlfriend.

I don’t think most people have an issue with that (and I wouldn’t if a teacher said that, assuming it was prompted by a student’s questions). Where I have an issue is “Little girl, you’re playing with a monster truck toy, you might be a boy trapped in a girl’s body”. “See how brave and stunning Billy Jim is now that he’s decided to become Sally Mae”. “Gender is a spectrum and you don’t just have to be a girl, some days you may be a boy, some days you may be a girl, some days you may be both”.

That’s too much information for a 7 year old to process and it invites them to make choices they otherwise are incapable of processing.

Couple that with the fact that they are actively hiding this from parents and this quickly gets dangerous. As you mentioned, the transition closets, the treating a child as the opposite gender without getting consent from or informing the parents is why laws like this need to be passed.

Additionally, I’m not sure when it became necessary for teachers to ‘come out’ to their students. I know I had some gay teachers back in the 80’s and 90’s, but it was either something we picked up on or someone ran into them at the store with their partner. It was never really discussed. Hell, the only time we knew a straight teacher was married was if she was knocked up. This new generation has this strange need to merge their personal and professional life. My kids don’t need to know who their teacher goes to sleep with at night, they need to learn multiplication tables and spelling.

Has the SC nominee's pedo apologist ways actually hit the general public or os it just autists who pay attention right now? If that quote ever comes out "Child sex offenders may not be pedophiles" and becomes ubiquitous she's disqualified immediately. Restorative justice is not a thing when kid touching is involved.
idk about that, parents have been fighting HARD for quite some time to keep pedos out of schools... something that you'd think would be a no-brainer, but they are still being stonewalled by the government... the same government that put parents on the FBI watch/terrorist list for criticizing CRT.

I have a feeling they will close ranks and guard this judge. Predictably they will use the race card HARD as their first line of defense.

Banning Trump from Twitter was probably the biggest favor they could do for him.
Eh... He's been isolated from the base, and the issues because of that ban. Poor dude's been watching Fox News and anything adjacent, but mostly the former.

Yeah, but look at Virginia. That's why I don't think that will work. Touching kids is something everyone agrees is a huge no no. It's mid term year. They need atleast 1 or two Republicans and/or the blue dog in West Virginia to vote for this and any, and I mean any, senator that votes for a pro pedo judge better not be in a tight race. They will lose. The ads right themselves. This senator voted for a pedophile apologist/they want to. I won't, I didn't. Its case closed for 90% of the country.

Not only higher favorables, the spread is the lowest too, showing the haters just can't be bothered to keep up the hate.
Pretty incredible (if not dubious) how Kevin McCarthy or Mitch McConnell can barely make themselves present as far as public attention goes and yet still be least liked.

In unrelated news, Stacy Abrams appeared on Star Trek: Discovery as president of Earth.

Earth with Stacy Abrams in charge would be truly a nightmare world.
Abrams is a fascinating example of someone believing it was their right to rule so much, that not only was cheating acceptable but having lost with it, her mind just broke.

And then she got passed for the VP slot because of it.

...I get the feeling that even in that fictional universe with the black female 'President of Earth' niggers and journos would still go "...There's still a lot of fighting left to do to achieve equality, but this is a step in the right direction"

Can't wait for the redux in November.
Me either. She royally fucked Georgians by running the MLB All-Star game out of town playing the race card, which ironically impacted black businesses the most since many are in hospitality, then bragged about it until it became extremely clear it was absolute political poison. Then she went into hiding for a few months. I see she's crawled back out to impose her unwelcome presence on the public again.

She's not even from Georgia, she's from Madison WI, her parents are religious academics from what I can tell, and she lived her whole life upper middle class in the burbs. Despite looking like a fat sassy inner city black woman, her whole persona is a farce. She's an oreo, through and through, and an extremely narcissistic one at that.

EDIT: And how can I forget, her day out to an elementary school where everyone except her had to wear a mask all day. It was like Rules For Thee But Not For Me Illustrated. She and Kamala Harris are locked in a race for least competent politician, it seems. Kamala just gets lots more opportunities with her high profile position, Abrams is every bit as aloof and assholish.

RE-EDIT: Looks like others remember her blunders well also. Good call Big O.

That one photo-op of her being unmasked while surrounded by kindergarteners who were all wearing masks was another Chernobyl-level politically radioactive stunt. She wants so badly to become governor of Georgia this year, but just remind the voters of that one image. The Fulton/DeKalb libs may not flinch at the hypocrisy, but the fence-sitters will sour pretty quickly.

Nothing is ever enough for woketards. They could have the whole known universe living under their rule and they'd still put people through purity tests.
