You can get social engineer'd with this shit. If someone calls like "Hey, my name is Nolan, I lost my card... yes, I was trying to make this specific transaction. Yes. I have my name and my birthday and my address and my first pet's name. Yes, but you see, the concert is soon, I need to move the money... okay, I don't remember all my transaction history, but I have a monthly deduction to Youtube of about this much. Is that enough?"
You fucking lose your money, or your identity, or your data. At best they smell something is up and you get locked out. You cannot hope that a minimum wage Indian call center worker is going to distinguish between you and a potential scammer. And scammers have a profit incentive to try this shit, they are often more competent than we are.
