What's that one track discipline where you can use track stands as a strat?

A track stand is something you can do in match sprinting to hooefully outbalance your opponent and force them to go in front. It is something that is hardly see these days as somw years ago a time limit was put on track stands(30secs i think) and unless a track stand is taking place the riders must move at a walking pace.
If you watch the sprints you will see officials walking on the inside, as soon as the riders start, and you cant go slower than them unless hou are going to do a stand. Back in olden times the track stands could go on for a very long time and it was a bit stupid, tbh. The gears are alot bigger now and you can get really caught out if you get the stand, or timing of it, wrong.
These days sprinting is often quite quick, from the off, with the riders being stronger and having more endurance so nobody fucks about doing stands anymore. You might see an underdog do it to try and force an opponent to the front so you get a draft but chances are the stronger rider will end up just riding away to a win.

Glad to see the interwebs lighting up over Liar Thomas. Rhys was hardly noticed in comparison due to swimming being way more mainstream and it is young people affected, not masters.

Re: William Thomas, this image is being widely circulated and applauded on Twitter right now.

Damn that's a powerful picture.

In reality though, the other women competing were supportive of Thomas. After that snap above they all took a friendly photo together:

Rhys gets even more obnoxious. Now he's going after the actual winners who were robbed of their titles by the male cheater. He did that also back when he won himself and the actual winner commented that it wasn't fair. Of course, he takes this as an opportunity to once again beg for attention from the press.

I always take it as a pretty sound rule of thumb that anyone who eagerly seeks out attention and publicity from the msm is a self-absorbed weirdo to be avoided at all costs. The media is, at best, a necessary evil.

Otherwise: cope harder, Rhys. This is how sane, observant and, yes, fair-minded people will always read the correct order of winners in a women's sporting competition where men compete.

ETA: As for Rhys being on the right side of history and that photo haunting the young women for the rest of their lives, I was just wondering what it would look like forty or fifty years from now when the obvious injustice that was done in the name of ideological overreach is rectified and the young women here are retroactively awarded their correct prizes. Even if the Western world doesn't come back to its senses the people whose opinions mean anything will always recognize this as bravery in the face of ugly and unjust social pressures.

Poor Rhys, must serve as a reminder he and William Thomas are widely hated by everyone who isn't a Twitter tranny and that their accolades have massive asterisks next to them.

Must really suck to be reminded that no one thinks your "achievements" mean anything.

"NCAA! You need to investigate why these women aren't standing closer to this giant hulking man who is cheating in their sport and stealing their titles, opportunities and records! It is not enough to force them to silently endure 'competing' against this man and threaten sanctions against women who speak out against his participation and cheating, they have to embrace and love and celebrate him too!"

Yeah, somehow I think any attempt at that would go over about as well as William's win did with the crowd.

A year ago you wouldn't have seen this, and if you had, their universities would have punished them immediately. Scholarships revoked, removed from campus. Today they're seen as heroic, as they should be. The foundation is crumbling. Look at the house of cards sway.
Do not let up. Women often show mercy before the killing blow is struck. Metaphorically.

One thing you learn as a female training with men in combative sports.

It's not over until the submission, or the TKO.

He finally posted, but I think Rhys is seething. With all the new name, image, and likeness rules all of Rhy's supposed bookings for pride are going to get bumped for old wild Bill.

Goddamn, you can just smell the seething narc jealousy.

"I SHOULD BE THE MOST SUCCESSFUL TRANS ATHLETE WHO DESTROYS WOMEN AT SOMETHING!"

And you can tell that's the case because ol' Troony McTroonface ended every clause in his second sentence with a period instead of ending any of them with an exclamation point.

I love how transparently performative his praise of another tranny sports cheat is... I honestly thought he wouldn't say anything because of the aforementioned narc jealousy, but he did, and it makes him look like an even bigger jealous shithead loser than would have been the case if he said nothing at all.

Hey Rhys, pro tip: If you're going to make a statement of praise for someone else, at least try to show a little enthusiasm even if it's feigned, you socially retarded cockless man.

Funny you should mention getting knocked out. I bet Will is such a misogynist fuck, that the first time he truly feels like a woman is the day he shows up at the pool with a black eye and a flimsy story about how he fell down the stairs. I hope he relishes that moment. Sports bitches are mean and even I can see that his fellows are clearly done putting up with his shit. Just look at that picture of them on the podium. That's a man who's gonna get whooped the moment it's convenient. Godspeed, Will Thomas! Something tells me you're going to get what you deserve.

What can organizers do? If ladies end up refusing to compete with troons then there won't be womens sports, and that's bad for business.
If they refuse to compete against men, they'll get cancelled by a mob of troons and troon-adjacent retards. The troon twitter mob has cowed most of society into accepting their bullshit because they're like howling gibbons who fling shit at you and won't stop until you give in to their demands.

I can see a day, and soon at that, where all of women's sports have excluded real women in favor of a bunch of men who decided that the quickest path to success is to troon out because they are mediocre athletes when they compete on a fair playing field... And this will not be condemned by "society", but celebrated. And anyone who voices any common sense rejection of such a ridiculous idea is hounded by the mob and is cancelled as well.

I gotta say, that picture of the three women who actually won 1st, 2nd and 3rd standing together in solidarity away from the troon warmed my heart. Most people think that dickless (or even dick having, apparently) men competing against women is fucking absurd. Give it a few years and hopefully this will be looked at as an aberration that everyone condemns vociferously just like we now do the steroid era in baseball.

Rhys was deadnamed and misgendered in a New York Post op-ed written by a group of Ivy League parents:

This is not just a swimming issue. Lia Thomas, Laurel Hubbard, Cece Telfer, Hannah Mouncey, Stephanie Barrett, Rachel McKinnon, Andraya Yearwood — the list continues — these are just some of the more publicly known male-bodied athletes that have robbed thousands of women of fair treatment in sport. Women pay a deep psychological toll, competing or not, when told they are undeserving of fair competition.

I wonder if he’ll demand a correction.

They took a normal photo with each person, including Thomas, standing in their finishing positions like at every race. Then they invited the fourth place person up to take a picture with them because they were teammates in the past. They didn't refuse to take a normal photo with Thomas, there's at least two separate photos you can find. The NCAA definitely should investigate this so these women know they must never do anything that can potentially shame a troon without having their lives destroyed. Women need to know their place challenge.

edit: here's the other photo I saw:

From what I've read, the students have been threatened (by the school) with removal from the team and potential academic consequences (being kicked out of school, etc.) if even their parents speak or act out, let alone the girls themselves. Make no mistake that there is a campaign of intimidation happening right now targeting these young women to try to keep them from talking. The fact that it's not working and these women are getting the word out - even if it's mostly anonymous right now - speaks to their bravery already.

Rhys's comments unironically remind me of Vaush's comments the other day to JKR, "women be quieter and start apologizing challenge." Men on Twitter are really going mask off with the misogyny lately.

I'm sad to see that the previous photo wasn't an intentional snub, even if I know that - as I mentioned above - the girls would be in huge trouble if it was. They may be in trouble anyway, since men like Rhys are kicking up a huge fuss over it. Either way, it's nice to see some female solidarity in the face of such disgusting behavior on the part of William over there.

Also, lastly, just.. god, look at the size of that fucking man. Juggernaut class. How can anyone look at these pictures and not be aware he has a serious physical advantage over these women? He's three times their fucking size!

It's because they've got the special glasses on that let them see a hulking young man in a too-small swimsuit as Natalie Coughlin.
