They always seem to frame things as an "all or nothing" situation. As if cutting off trans-women from women's sports means they'll never be able to compete with regular men. The trouble is that they know they'll be less competent against other men, so it's better to frame things where they're being victimized. It's a rather insidious sort of logic that's bound to rope-in a few people who don't stop and think.

It all comes back to the one TRANS RIGHT above all: that others be forced to affirm your personal feeling that you're a specific gender sex just because you want to be that gender sex.
You have to let Lia play with the girls because otherwise that's not affirming that Lia IS a girl. Lia wants to be a girl so everybody needs to get on board with that and tell Lia constantly how much she's a girl. If Lia doesn't get her way, she'll kill herself, and that blood will be on your hands.
No one should have to suffer the oppression of gestation imposing a sex on them without their consent. Especially not when we can ease their oppression simply by doing anything they might want.

Depends. If she refers to herself as "non-binary", then it's a very high likelihood that she's doing it for clout (because non-binary goes under the trans umbrella now in some way).

Like in the shooting thing, women's categories aren't created because men feel threatened that they may loose for a women, at least not primily i think, they exist to encourage women in participating in the sport, to have something aimed to them and because males outnumber females in the sports so it would become a male thing, even if male and female could compete at physical sport theses categories would still exist for this reason,jees, idk how someone can be so retard, like even if troons hadn't a advantage over women i would still be against in including them, because its women's sport for fuck sake! There men's sports for mens that they can compete and competing in sports isn't a basic right! So they weren't being deined anything, a lot of people don't compete and are ok with their lives, this isn't like they are going to die because of that, your choices have consequences over your life and trooning out is a choice! And thats means that they may not be able to compete in sports,go to public spas and so on! Its like getting a fucking face tatoo! You may not be able to get a job and people may find you suspect! The real reason for why troons in womens sport is such an important issue for TRAs is because their whole argument is that trannies are exactly the same as ciswomen. Most of them know it's stupid but have to play along. Because if trannies are male enough to not play in womens sport, why are they allowed in other exclusive women's spaces? If people realise that troons have a physical advantage over women then the whole house of cards will fall down.
That's why even with all of the protest Lia won't be kicked from the team, because that would be admitting to troons being more men than women. At best he'll leave the team because of "transphobia".

I once came across a Twitter thread where troons claimed that women's sports having different rules (e.g., fewer sets in tennis, shorter three point arc in basketball, etc.) was sexist and that WNBA players could compete equally in the NBA, lmao.
