I think Ralph was the downgrade. Digi is a weirdo troon nut job but at least he wasn’t a fat, severe alcoholic/pill head with major rage and anger issues plus a rap sheet. Digi also managed to hold a job at Target for a year or two, which is more than can be said for Ralph.

Ralph has the two most dangerous attributes for a father/husband -lots of anger/ rage and alcoholism. Either trait on its own sucks, but pairing them together dangerous af.

Digi simply not being fueled by anger and booze makes him a better choice unless your goal is to a victim of domestic violence or murder.

I'd argue that being a pedo troon is probably more dangerous in a father than being an alcoholic rage-pig, albeit in a different way.
