General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I was wracking my brain earlier trying to decide what Ame would sing, being the only EN without a song, and the first thing that came to my mind was the pudding song. I didn't think they would really do that and holy shit they did. She has improved drastically since debut though. Good on her.

Ina brought a god damn tear to my eye. Something about it was just fantastic.
I love that Ace Defective is bringing more attention to an anime that really fucking deserves it.

You guys weren't lying, Moona's performance is impressive.
You can tell she has had experience performing. Not only does she kill the song, everything about that performance screams "I have done this shit before, now step back and watch."

It's a bit sad that NHK came out before the streaming service hype therefore no one will really talk about it. The same goes for Gankutsuou and Monster which are both amazing yet it seems no one paid attention to them because they came out before the big anime/streaming boom of 2016.

Well, aside from singing, she was a dancer as well, so...

This is Japanese Witchcraft. That is the only explanation.
Deep in the NORAD facility in the Cheyenne mountains, a voice speaks out from the darkness at a round table

"We have been too lax on fighting the weeaboo mennace. Soon these virtual girls will be walking our streets, confusing the minds of our young men with their niceness and cuteness. Birth rates will plummet to levels unseen before in our nation's history. Our women with their actual needs and complexities simply cannot compete against these highly idealized anthropomorphic gorls. For Christ's sake Mr President the have a fluffy sheep gorl and a fat cat gorl who may be in lesbians with a cute dog gorl! And those are just the ones we're aware of! Mr President...I recommend, and it's not a recommendation I issue lightly, a pre-emptive strike while we still have a chance. Japan needs a third nuke."
lol were they all given a rainbow's worth of glowsticks before they were allowed into the concert?

Ollie totally lost it at Moona's performance

I guess you can switch the colors the glowsticks. I have seen a chart that explains which color to use for which member

Looking through the clips I'll say that Moona is the stand out from the entire group though I do appreciate Ame going full meme with the pudding song.
Pretty sure you can change it with a button or twisting it or something else

I take it you're not that familiar with the customs for anime concerts in Japan/East Asia? This is nothing, wait until people are allowed to chant and shout again in concerts

No I'm American and to be honest the actual idol stuff still kinda weirds me out. You say that the concert goers aren't even allowed to speak at this thing? I was wondering why it was so quiet and thought that they just shut off the house mics for some reason. That blows my mind that fans would make themselves be muzzled, and I don't just mean the masks, to the point where they don't even sing along.

Japanese specifically are known for being very well behaved. They don't cheer or shout unless directed to basically. I know other Asian countries are more behaved than America too but not as much as Japan.

I had to see this, so you guys have to now.
