He can't even read properly. Mixing me up with Berserk Fury.
Anyway, pwngirl24, keep up it with warning people about her. The whole point of our thread here is to discuss these surgery horrors out in the open so you are actually doing us a favor talking.
Friendly reminder to people considering these surgeries who are not active members here: there are only a few surgeries in this area that are standardized and relatively safe. Until these surgeons begin creating standard work parameters and aftercare procedures, you should avoid any other type of surgical work.
Not everyone here hates you or despises you. You are seeking something and that's your own business, your own body. I started this thread from legitimate disgust at the doctors that are taking advantage of you. Your community discussing these problems openly would be better, but since your community is blackmailed into covering for these butchers, this is next best. Yes you'll be reading some hateful shit mixed into the commentary. Wouldn't it be better if you had your own supportive spaces that didn't clamp down on discussions about safety, bad outcomes, and that?
If you can't discuss these things on your own, you'll have to read and see things that make you uncomfortable to get this information. That's a communal choice you've made.
Part of it is the unwillingness to say that there's anything wrong with being trans (there is, it's a disability. why you're ashamed of being disabled is not understandable to me)
the rest is that these surgeons have blackmailed you, convinced you that you cannot demand to be treated humanely and with proper medical care, that you must rely on them and get things done this instant or else. That only they can help you.
(it's not true. the medical community at large would be much further along in safe technique of it wasn't for you relying on people who treat you like guinea pigs and take advantage)
In short, be safe, and pay attention to the informative parts of this thread. Your skin needs to be thicker in general. This world is not a safe or kind place for disabled or unusual people, learning to handle that will take you a lot farther than living in denial.
Also, if you discourage others from finding that information, you're helping these surgeons hurt people just like you.
