I'd like to thank those who have access to Putin's thoughts and plans for sharing with the wider world throughout all of this. It's part of the unique value this thread offers.
Everyone here is a military expert after years of practice playing HOI4 and Call of Duty. This is in addition to at least ten years of reading Wikipedia articles on foreign conflicts. Putin knows nothing compared to us

Its 3 weeks in and they have not even touched Odessa. This is all cope it was obvious the initial plan was to take Ukraine whole, now its regions.
The goalposts are on roller skates at this point. When this first kicked off I was pro-Ukraine for noting that Russia really couldn't take and hold more than the country east of the Dnieper river and maybe the coast along the Black Sea. Today this is considered the best-case winning scenario for the pro-Russia side. What a difference a couple-three weeks of hard reality makes.

I blame the past week and a half for being so fucking slow. At least if Belarus does something we'd get content, especially if they do what they're signaling and try a solo operation in the western region, which would probably lead to them being slaughtered by reservists.

I feel like Farmers like that meme now. "C'mon Belarus invade already."

Day 24 so far:
- Russkies still haven't collapsed under the weight of sanctions. No sight of mobilisation\disastrous peace deal.
- Hohols still lose territory and manpower. 80+ dead after single rocket barrage in Nikolaev. Many more unaccounted.
- No sight of any significant help from the West. No heavy weapons, armor, air vehicles etc. Only manpads\AT rockets.

Yeah when it's a war the money isn't as important as the things the factories make that you need to fight the war and sustain the civilian population.
Again this is an undersell of western powers, we are this weak poor and helpless society where we for some strange reason pay chinks to do our labor for us, if that is removed we cant do anything that is how weak we are... Give me a break if we have to build new state of the art factories for war we can if we want we have the money to do so.

This is an invasion Russia has been practically static for 10 days doing little lol.

America is a lot weaker than it was in 1999. It makes me really sad to say it.

I don't know much about factories but rebuilding tens of thousands of them, sourcing materials and establishing supply chains seems kinda hard.

At least, harder than not having to do it.

Why rebuild them?
Even if Ukraine stays a bombed out wasteland its still a buffer between NATO and Russia. Why even bother fixing the cities? Let all the people fuck off to the EU where they want to be anyways. Free gibs and housing there now.

In addition to the buffer zone Russia got the water turned back on in Crimea and may end up getting a wide land bridge along the coast to it. The cities along the way that don't want to submit should bombed until everyone leaves or gets dead. If Russia doesn't do that then they will just be an endless headache.

The Russia stuff parked around Kiev is a retard magnet at this point. I don't think Russia will try and take that city now. Yeah it would be a nice mental victory but it is of no actual real world value. Controlling the dirt around the Azov sea has value.

Jump's "win" for Russia now would be to break off everything east of my red line and keep everything west from ever from becoming stable enough to join the EU or nato.

I just want to add nuking Kiev with a suitcase nuke is a very real possibility. Russia doesn't give a rat's ass about Kiev. It would give a taste to the other NATO faggots screaming for WW3 of what's in store for them if they persist. Kiev, and Ukraine as a wasteland is no problem for Russia, but its a big problem for their opponents. Sure the West would reeeee and call Russia names but that would be the end of it, they already sanctioned them to hell and back.

That's what will happen when you back Russia into a corner, persist with the Hitler analogies and play overly dramatic violin music for senile boomers in Congress. I think our diplomatic corps are all furry coomers that couldn't negotiate a car wash if their lives depended on it.
Okay, now prevent Ukraine from inviting NATO to turn their entire damned wasteland into a FOB because fuck you and your treaties. That's right, you need to occupy it. Now you've got a nation living in abject devestation, ruled over by a military command that openly does not give a single solitary fuck about the state of the country it's in charge of. I know "hearts and minds" has been reduced to something of a meme over the years, but the first and most important part of preventing an uprising is to give people literally anything better to do than take potshots at your troops. Things like, say, government-funded reconstruction projects. If you try and turn an entire fucking country into the Warsaw Ghetto, you are going to get the Warsaw Uprising on a national scale, and now you have to fight the entire fucking war all over again.
