How long until an entire letter gets removed from the alphabet for its association with Crazy Ivan? Do we really need all 26 of those jerks? Ampersand used to be a letter, to, look at what's become of it now.
It'll be fun, like that picture of Stalin that kept having more and more people disappear from it.
Some soy golem already did just that to his laptop keyboard. The screencap of his tweet was posted in the first thread, hundreds of pages ago, so I won't be able to find it, but it's there.

This is funny.

Please God no, the Irish language only has 18 letters and no use for j, k, q, v, w, x, y or z.
That's how you end spelling a name like Mave as Madbh.....
Spelling is hard enough already, thanks.

You don't get it; nuclear cratered Kiev is a warning. If NATO makes any moves towards Russia the arsenal flies. I mean why do you all pretend it can't happen?

"Why would we have a world without Russia?".
I wouldn't say that it can't happen...but if it does happen, then I'm actually going to finally agree with every 'expert' that called Putin as certifiably insane on the day the war started. him nuking Kiev would definitely tell the West: "if I was willing to nuke a city this important to me, what do you think I'll do to yours?" but it would also tell everyone in Russia something that would not benefit him at all - "I respect nothing of all the bullshit I yapped about the glory of slavs before now and could do this to any of our own cities too." and no matter who you are in a position of power, you do not last long with that kind of statement.

This would probably be better propoganda if it actually mentioned even the tiniest bit of context for us western folk. What is Donbas? Who killed who? Legit no mention of who committed the genocide? And yes I know the context, but does the average westerner?
Yeah, it's not like anybody in Donbas hired an American politician's son for a no-show job. We need a real reason to care.

using nuclear weapons on a population center is such a huge red line, even the countries that have so far remained neutral-ish (like turkey, china, india) would probably reconsider their position at that point

Doubful then France want them either, they have their hands full with Corsica and other overseas territories.
France actually loves Quebec; they think of them like their "wild hinterlands", like it's their Alaska for whatever reason. The last time I was in France, every gift shop had stuff from Quebec in it.
Some funny news out of Canada: Castro Jr. donated so much military equipment to Ukraine that his Defence Minister was forced to admit they "exhausted inventory from the Canadian Armed Forces" and that "there are capacity issues".
This makes me MATI. Gas is $6.50 a gallon around here (in some places up to $8.25) and getting more expensive April 1st thanks to a planned Carbon Tax increase; grocery stores are routinely understocked; meat is like twice as expensive as it was last year; the average single detached home costs $1.2 million if you don't live in the fuckin boonies... all on a median household income of $78,000 (less if you aren't in a major city), and despite claims of worker shortages, the government is bringing in so many goddamn pajeets that that number isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Pajeets are happy to live in an illegal boarding house with 12 people in a 1-bedroom apartment if it means making 50 times the income they'd make in India to send back home. Our GDP/capita has stalled out and is now falling compared to the US' steady gains and the average Canadian has $1,200 less per year to spend than they did when Trudeau came in.

So what's our government concerned with? Sending our entire military arsenal over to Ukraine and then spending even more to buy brand new weapons so they can send those too.

I'm not gonna argue details, I'm talking purely about the video lol. It doesn't mention:
- Russia at all.
- Ukraine at all.
- Where Donbas is.
- Why it was attacked.

Now, imagine you didn't know any of he above and try understand what it's about. You couldn't. It's a horrible propoganda video.

Edit: to be clear, the names 'Russia' and 'Ukraine' are not mentioned once throughout the video, lol

Funny footage from the Ukrainian TG: the Nazis from "Azov" seized the "Strela" air defense system and threatened to squeeze everything from the Russians. Then they tried to cross the river but got stuck . The Nazis tried to get it with a tractor. In the end, Russian troops struck at them: the tractors were burned, the Strela was again in the ranks of the RF Armed Forces. happy end

The stock laughter at the end is a weird touch. Not sure how true the story is as sketchy source but funny if true
