General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Starting to think I should maybe start posting some regular shills of various hololive music since it seems many in the thread were caught off guard by the musical strength of a lot of the girls.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see it, but just surprised at how many people hadn't heard Moona or Risu's pipes, or known that Lion's Roar is a banger. Maybe I'll just start dropping the weekly "top songs" videos that get put out on youtube because they're a great way to get a taste of what everyones up to.

I'm still on the 'CP2077 sucks' train. I never had much trouble with bugs or glitches in it (played it on the PC, where it was largely stable) but the content is mediocre and shallow and the game feels like three different, unfinished prototypes mashed together (which seems to actually be the case, given its development).

Glad Bae's enjoying it, though.

Wasn't there a little drama recently when Code Miko won streamer awards (or whatever it's called, it's more like twitch awards) in the "Vtuber" category beating 3 Vshojo members, even though she's on record saying how she doesn't really consider herself a Vtuber or doesn't know if that's what she is etc. She claimed that she got inspired by Project Melody making bank on chaturbate but it was more like "people pay for this shit? Seems easy enough I can do it myself" rather than admiration, in fact she also said that her "dignity" stopped her from going this way... I know some vshojofags on /vt/ still hate her for this and it would be a bit hipocritical from her side btw if it's true that she actually did nudes back in the day like many people claim. There is also this rrat that both Miko and Technician (she's altering between roommate and model more than kson) are characters and her boyfriend a twitch producer is the real brain behind this project, seems like her content used to revolve around pole dancing rather than anything related to math, graphic design or computers:

Yeah playing it made me wish they just focused on the Street background and had the other two for DLC, it all felt Street anyway.

It was more about Mori regreting she got too absorbed in her own shit and after a while picking the contact back up became awkward, with her not knowing how to establish it again.

Alright gonna try and do this in a way that is unobtrusive since it invovles linking a bunch of videos and I don't want my post to be cancerously large. but here we go if you feel like exploring a bit of Vtuber music.



Hololive guy seems to be having some channel issues and the original song ranking is a bit out of date as a result. Regardless, links to the full songs are always pinned in the comments sections of the guys videos, good stuff for exploring the music side of things.



A bit more difficult on the Niji side of things, only know of a cover song ranking, and it's not exactly "user friendly" for non JP viewers, video description contains a playlist of all songs featured but a lot of the member names shown in video are only written in Japanese so it can be tough if you aren't already familiar.

at the Live? Okayu Shion and Aqua sang Phony which is a cover song, originally by Tsumiki it's popularly covered by tons of vtubers,

Matsuri Nene and Subaru sang Candy-Go-Round, an original song produced for Hololive's concert last year Bloom

The Cat Harem song is Fake. I think that Matsuri, Nene and Subaru sang Candy-Go-Round but I'm not sure.
