The goal is the abolition of property rights for people who are deemed bad, just like vaccine passports were the goal - muh covid being just the excuse to implement it.

A coulple of years ago I managed to save up some money and was thinking about purchasing a nice forest cottage in Finland. Easily reachable from St. Petersburg, great nature, delicious food, lovely people, not Russia.

What stopped me was the clause that stated that Finland reserves the right to confiscate the property of Russian citizens by paying them minimal compensation as it sees fit.

It hasn't happened yet, so I still do not know whether I dodged the bullet or doomed myself by not buying it.

The Ukrainians have gone into this with the right mindset: That they will lose unless they force the Russians to lose faster. That was exactly the Finnish model. To hold out for aid against a foe that has numerical and technical superiority on every level and the Ukes have been doing that with last generation Russian tech. Are they corrupt?
