1) A true black is harsh and unflattering for his fair coloring. A brown-black, plum, etc. would be more appropriate
2) Fully lining the eyes is hardly ever the best makeup decision, as it makes the eyes look smaller. Using the black eyeliner that his coloring can't handle is only exacerbating the issue
3) If the eyes are dramatic, go nude/simple with the lip, and vice versa. The only time you should have both strong(ish) liner and red lipstick is if you are using extremely simple liner styling ala Taylor Swift
4) The eyebrows should be shaped to taper to a point after the curve of the arch
5) His skin tone is quite cool, but the hair tone is neutral-to-warm. The hair should be toned cooler

He gets a bit of credit for the effort on the makeup/hair/brows, but you are very right, he's making a lot of common rookie errors. The eyeliner makes his eyes look like face-buttholes and whatever he's using on his brows makes them look clown-hair orange. Way too warm. He needs to find a cooler taupe brow pencil. And in some of his pictures, he's overlining his lips but making them a really weird shape that's giving him a weird Grinchy smile. He said he got lip fillers, which is probably a good idea because it looks like he had no lips at all before, but if he's going to keep doing that he should try to have the top lip rounded more, the sharp cupid's bow thing he's drawing on does nothing to make him look feminine.

I am working on a different OP and just don't have the hours it takes to build one like you made.
I really like how it lays out the timeline of his discovery, initial sympathy from Kiwis (honesty about transition regrets and self-deprecating humor like "fanny traggot" score points with me personally), followed by his reveal of being a major, self-entitled asshole. All he had to do was be nice to the hospital staff and we probably would have moved on... but, nope, troon gotta troon.

FYI: the address for Fanny towards the bottom appears to be wrong and lists Duncan, BC. I think that is a different person. He definitely seems to be in Ontario at the main Laurier campus, no idea of current address there, though. Nobody deserves to be associated with this jerk.

I'm not religious nor did I grow up in a remotely religious household, so I have a very hard time understanding how a troon is better than a gay son.

Though I think Mr. and Mrs. Hiscock are trying their best to be good Christians. Do we know how aware of their son's mental illnesses they are? If going by what he has put on record, he's spent time in a psych ward for quite a while, so surely they knew he was fucked in the head even before he trooned out.
