Apparently Russians love tank movies as I watched "White Tiger" a while ago and YouTube suggested for me to watch "T-34" next and have to say, them Russians did a decent job at action CGI stuff and the ending was more nuanced for an action style movie.

So why didn't the Nahzees just all immigrate to Nepal instead of ruining Europe and nationalism?

They could have had their autistic little "we wuz pajeets an' sheeit" enclave away from everybody else.
I'm more worried about what happens when we create a country where every third person seems to have access to some form of shoulder fired missile.

I have no idea. I trust nothing from post-war nazi memoirs because they were all trying to dodge the rope and be employable after the war. It very quickly turned into a circular firing squad. What is known is that Goring had a weird fetish for vintage german uniforms to a dandyish level and Himmler did organize an expedition to the himalayas to find the Aryan homeland.
So Uncharted 2 wasn't playing around with the idea of Nazis in the Himalayas lol.

Was Albert Speer giving somewhat of the truth in his book about the Third Reich as I have heard some folks dispute it as Speer blaming all his shortcomings on others and trying to rehab himself.

Are there debates among unironic Nazis over this situation over what to do?
Not really from what I've seen. You have some people who take them at face value, but those types tend to be the ones who take everything at face value without question. From everything I've seen, they just have all of the hallmarks of what you see with western glowie groups, though I do think you have more true believers mixed in with them. To me, the biggest red flag for any group comes from looking at their supposed desired end state and then looking at how they plan to get to that point.

They earned a rep of being nazis and thugs true or false, don't be surprised when actual nazis and thugs starts joining rank thinking they found a home.

I just want to watch Redditors get owned by Russkie airstrikes because one retard had to post on the internet. People really have no idea how much metadata is broadcast every time you do this.

Seriously though ordinary Russians are pissed about the situation, it's dangerous to speak out about it though. What a fucking stalemate.
Your 0wn3d just by turning on your cell phone. Even with out making a call or sending a text.
The way cellular systems work means they have to know basically where your device is at all times. It needs to know what tower your registered to so it can hand off to the next tower as you move around. And when you get an incoming call/text what tower to send it to.
All this live data is stored in the cell carriers central office (MTSO). If the Russians have control of that building or hacked in to the network via gaining physical access to the network at a cell site then expect a lot more dead redditors.

Even if they didn't gain access to the carriers network they can still drive/fly around with their version of a "stingray" to sniff the handset metadata right off the air as it talks to the towers. Stash some stingrays in the west near boarder crossings to log cell phone IMEI and simcard ICCID numbers. Then watch for those numbers to pop up in the east. There be the reddit army.

An interesting look at the whole "They're Just Research Facilities" thing.

Take it with as many grains of salt as you wish.
There are two level-3 biolabs near where I live. One is in my town in a government building, the other is in the nearest university. You can throw a rock and probably hit one anywhere that there's large scale agriculture going on.

The problem with such arguments is that Russia's invasion makes no sense unless they thought it was going to be that easy to secure their objectives. If they faced opposition no more competent than they faced in 2014, it'd be relatively easy for them to take the rest of Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts for the breakaway republics; take the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts to secure water and better land access to Russia for Crimea as well as full control of the sea of Azov; and maybe take partial or full control of Mykolaiv and Odessa oblasts to seize all Black Sea claims and secure an overland route to Transnistria. Especially if they succeeded in capturing the government in the opening days or causing them to flee the country in a largely unopposed thrust on Kiev. In such a scenario - particularly if the civilians were indifferent or supportive - there wouldn't be enough time or fighting for a major international backlash to be organized, the areas in the east most likely to put up genuine resistance would be easy to paint as neo-Nazis, and they could conceivably get away with it with no more than a minor increase in sanctions from the US and maybe its allies.

Under conditions that they've actually faced, they're nearly a month into this with no end in sight, have casualties in the thousands including some high ranking officers, are laying waste to multiple cities including ones with large populations of Russian descent, huge portions of their international trade is fucked, and they're looking at putting themselves into an unfavorable relationship with China or India to keep trade going. Unless they're insane, there's no way that they thought that what they could gain from this war would worth the problems they've faced thus far and will face in the future if this is the level of resistance to their invasion they expected. Even blatant assassinations of Ukraine's top government officials in hopes of getting ones more favorable to Russia would have given them fewer problems and been more likely to see good results.
yeah this sounds about right, they should have ripped off the entire bandaid in 2014 entirely instead of letting NATO bulk the ukes up for 8 years.

the other argument is that they never expected the ukraine side to thumb their noses at the exercise and refuse to come to the table entirely for negotiations, making the invasion unplanned. for as hard as they are being hit by the defenders the casualties among the ukes are even worse. the NYT let slip that a hospital in kherson saw more than 400 ukrainian casualties a day back in the first week of march, a figure that dwarfed the official ministry of defense count entirely. you are just not seeing the other side unless you go looking for it outside the anglophone media

Just a bunch of normie takes from one Instagram account

The operational security is lol abysmal. Like even within the professional soldiers. I wonder if leadership is going to have a word with it's soldiers about this. On both sides.

The best part about the armox is we were stacking so much on our trucks, it was blowing through suspension, steering, & brakes at probably 3-4x the normal wear rates; even with RFI "upgrade" kits, and even with KBR around to handle scheduled servicing.

Even better was *none* of our trucks had been uparmored before going downrange, and we started Mad Max'ing our shit only *after* doing our own version of a thunder run through Baghdad and Balad.

Romeo 9 was one of mine; observe the armox water-bottle holder, and not visible is the dispenser/magazine for my D-cell batteries. This image was taken fully six months into a 15 month deployment, and we *still* didn't have everything uparmored yet.

The sheer state of Russian PMCS has kicked my PTSD into gear harder than anything else, and they still rolled into Ukraine with newer/better shit than we had.
My crew was rolling in 1991 with 1 Gen-Zero unarmored humvee, 2 CUC-V's, 2 Deuces, a single 5-ton, and one semi-tractor.

Not a speck of armor on them.

We did have our nifty Kelvar vests though!

So I totally feel you pain, brother.

Anyone else seen this? Head of Ukrainian military medical unit says he's ordered staff to castrate all Russian soldiers captured.

I had no time for Ukraine in this - those spastics have been fucking around in the Don Bass region for too long, and are finally finding out - but this is fucking sick.

Russian OPSec has been solid. Most of everything that comes out of their side is MOD propaganda videos. With Ukraine there seems to be a lot more content made by people on the ground which gets signal boosted by the entire Western press but it's successfully curated since you'd be hard pressed to find much footage of casualties or destroyed equipment despite it obviously existing given the way the front has moved.

Except for the fact they're using unencrypted communications, which has apparently been how one or two of the Russians generals were located and killed.
