Observation: In any war/campaign, the side that's losing always stresses their successes/perceived enemy defeats. They downplay their losses and stress their sacrifice. We did it in the Philippines after Pearl Harbor. No difference here. Are the Ukrainians losing? Yes, but not quickly, and not by leaps and bounds. It's a grind now. At the rate things are going, we could see some stabilization soon. Surrounding and besieging cities, not to mention house-to-house fighting, sucks up a lot of troops/equipment. Even if this war were to end today, Russia will still have lost on the world stage. The vaunted Russian steamroller ran out of steam quickly. They planned to fight another 2014 but got a rude awakening. Generals get killed because they HAVE to go up front and direct operations; junior and mid-grade officers apparently not allowed to use flexibility and initiative. Russia has lost a lot of generals and colonels in just a few weeks, and they have lost even more troops. And their loved ones wonder why they died. Am sure Uke losses have been heavy but these people are perceived as sacrificing themselves for the nation.

The 2nd Chechen war lasted a decade with the siege of Grozny lasting 3 months, and that was considered a wildly successful campaign. The Ukraine has 40 times the population of Chechnya. The Russians are doing fine, in fact way better than they have any right to given their odd decision not to use your nation's tried and true tactic of turning an entire country into a fine powder through air bombing.

The whole "Russians are using unencrypted cell phones and radios!" reeks of the WW2 Propaganda about "Carrots improve your night vision!". Where the British had developed Radar to use on night fighter planes to combat the german planes during the Blitz, but publicly attributed the pilots success in seeing and shooting down planes in the pitch black to "the power of vitamin A in carrots improving their night vision".

So, rather than saying "The US NSA and intelligence apparatus support has cracked the Russian encrypted comms and is giving that info to the Ukrainians", they just say "Lol! The incompetent Russian forces don't even have encryption on their radios! Anyone can just listen in!", with the "evidence" inevitably just being some random slavic radio garble going "oh no Dmitri! We're so fucked! Our tanks are getting blown up! We really fucked up by invading the Ukraine!".

Can I believe that the western intelligence network, one of the most powerful on the planet has cracked encrypted Russian comms? Sure, it's definitely possible. Do I believe that the Russians are so retarded that they don't use encrypted comms, and then talk openly on the comms with strategic info to the point where generals can be located and assassinated? No fucking way. Even common street criminals know how to talk in coded language when they're worried a line might have a wiretap.

This whole "give the Ukies the full might of the western military without outright direct combat support and then pretend any failures of the Russian military are purely due to them being retarded" is gay as fuck.

Yeah, they knew where all the generals are because they have unencrypted radios where they say "Hey Ivanko, General Smirnoff is doing to be at these coordinates!", and not due to the info from the nonstop US military spy satellite, spy plane, and drone monitoring they have openly admitted to be currently using to provide as much actionable intelligence to the Ukies as possible, right?

You don't have to make Russia into retards to support Ukraine. In fact, it's more to their benefit to not do so. Makes them more courageous and strong. The only reason the "Russia is a buncha retards!" is getting so much western propaganda push is to convince western retards that we can somehow directly fight a nuclear nation unscathed. Yeah Russian outlets spread a lot of bullshit with the aim of sowing division in the West (at least they did before they were all banned...), but they seem to think the Russkies have literal magical mind-control powers or something . Do you have a source for this? I always read that Zelensky was campaigning on negotiating an end to the war, and that the people of Ukraine voted for him for this. However, this was politician slick talk. While acting like he wanted to 'negotiate', it was really just going to be a demand, "give us back our land'. And then refused to meet with DNR or LNR.

That's just good OPSEC, any live public appearance is just asking for a missile strike. Given all the lies that have been exposed there is absolutely no reason to believe anything from the Ukraine, it's just as likely he is in Tel Aviv as Kiev.
