Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

He certainly moves the needle, just not nearly as much as he used to be able to. It's been a steady decline of needle-moving and I don't see anything that can reverse that trend.
There's more competition for the money out there. Besides, the only needle he really has to move is his own. The rest is just a bonus for the people he helps out. Personally I see @FROG doing stream after stream that boost campaigns 4 figures regularly and 5 figures often enough. Launching on his site is a guaranteed 5 figure day. So if he's losing his touch, I'm not seeing a lot of evidence for it.

IDK, all I know is people were forced to lock down and the economy was ravaged and small business destroyed, but hey, just use the money you have sitting in your bank from unfulfilled indiegogo campaigns to fund frivolous lolsuits the way a Comicsgater would. And if you can't, you're a bad person and you should feel bad!
She's not gonna fuck you bro

What does cg campaigns have to do with dean not finding a lawyer, should anticg want to be better than the mismanaged campaigns?

yeah it was a rough time and people donated $1300 during it. help was offered and shot down. Is it really frivolous if he won? think they'd get that thrown out pretty quick.

I'm sorry Dean didn't do enough to please you guys, maybe you should have gave him more money, lawyers aren't cheap you know.

*EDIT* Behold, Comicsgate's newest Babyface! Only a matter of time til he's on the CG Kings promoting one of his weird, self insert fetish comics.

Now you are making copes that cg fanboys make "Insert blank aReN't ChEaP yOu KnOW." Shut up retard. It's nobody's obligation to donate to your gilf's sand nigger's gfm for a lawsuit he caused. It's His and his baboon obligation who made the gfm to use the gfm accordingly like they should've done from the beginning. You really sound like a cg simp and it's sad.

He had Spectre write his motion to dismiss.

Live in the real world. This is delusional.

What's your cope as to why they left EVS generous offer to be their father and olive branch on read? I'm genuinely interested.

I hear he's starting a new show with Saggy Melonz, maybe it will end up being a hit. Only time will tell.
Maybe he should worry about getting a real job and figuring out how to find an attorney instead of doing a show that draws 25 viewers with his money laundering bozo bonobo. "Maybe"? His broke ass probably gonna end up selling his streaming materials after the judgement.

It's been explained countless times now. I get the distinct impression you don't WANT to know the truth, because it's at odds with the typical anti-CG narrative (FROG MAN BAD).

Once more, with feeling...

All they had to do was hire a cheap-ass lawyer to sign onto @FROG's motion to dismiss. Something Ethan went out of his way to offer. Which he didn't have to do, but contrary to the narrative you want to spin, he knows what a piece of shit Preston is. They turned him down.

Knowing now that Vikki is practically destitute, it's possible they were so broke-ass poor they couldn't even afford Lionel Hutz. Fair enough, I suppose. But where the story really comes off the rails for me is the part where after @FROG is dismissed from the lawsuit (using the motion he offered them), they go in REALLY hard on him on their show and Twitter. For seemingly no reason whatsoever. Largely drugging up old shit from 2018 (i.e. Ribbitcoin). Most offensive of all, they don't even acknowledge the big help he offered. What should have been a time to show humility and plan out what they're gonna do next, turned into a sad display of them lashing out at people who actually tried to help them. To what end? I dunno. It doesn't make any sense. Unless they're just so full of anger over the bad decisions they made that they feel the need to swing at somebody.

Vikki becomes increasingly unhinged until she makes that vague tweet about IGG campaigns allegedly being in ToS violation, and then Dean and several others wash their hands of her. Dean and Vikki are now seemingly pointing fingers at each other as to how they got in this mess.

To the outside observer, it looks like Vikki has gone completely nutso, and is bound and determined that if CG wins against Preston (as they have, for the moment), and she loses (and she seemingly has, for the moment), she's gonna make it her mission in life to take down CG. It's childish. CG isn't public enemy #1. Preston is.

Now, as far as I'm concerned, you can either sit there and pound your chest and scream FROG MAN BAD, or you can accept the truth (even grudgingly) that FROG legitimately tried to help those two knuckleheads and they spit in his face. I don't think it would kill you to do that once.

Your call.

Anti-CG is a goddamned mess right now. Deleted accounts. Purged Discords. Broken friendships. Complete disarray. It's sad.

This is a joke, right? You're REALLY gonna go with the line that absolutely no blame should be apportioned to Dean or Vikki at all?

Again, I asked you this before, but you dodged the question: I donated to Dean. Did you?

You are a complete nutter if you think FROG is going to invite Preston on any of his shows after he sued FROG, along with that whole TM dispute bullshit. This is the dumbest thing I have read on KF in a long while.

You're not Steve Jobs. Your repeated attempts at a reality distortion field are pretty lame.

I PRAY nobody else here believes this, because that would show just how aloggy this thread has become. JFC.

It won't be CG content though. He's says he done with CG. And quite frankly, I don't blame him.

Only issue is that before doing ANYTHING else, he really should deal with Preston. It's the not dealing with adult matters like adults that has consistently bit them in the ass.

Captain Manning, I'm sorry, and I may just speak for myself here, but 95% of your posts on this thread are pure trash and I don't bother to read them anymore.

Like I said, I suspected you don't want to know. It doesn't surprise me you don't have a reply. That's certainly up to you. You can lead a horse to water....

But CG isn't a Manga hotbed from the word go, so it's an uphill battle with those books to begin with. Plus, his heart isn't into Manga and he's open in his 'Meh' over it.
Eh, there's always been a market for manga within CG circles (or at least there was early on). Even discounting Xenotype, there's Raging Golden Eagle's Blade Devil, Nyriam's Bonds: The Drive and Tim Lim during his early association with CG.

Latest episode of Comicsgate Kings for those who missed it before it was privated: There were two topics of discussion (another 'reading Bounding into Comics articles out loud stream' in other words) tabled for this week's episode: 1) The CG Kings discuss G4TV walking back the Frosk incident and making overtures to "gamer culture" followed by 2) discussing Todd McFarlane triggering a bunch of leftists by saying collectible action figures is a "male thing". Given the nature of your average senior citizen CG King, best described as "curmudgeony boomer", it was clear none of Frog's elderly guests could muster any fucks about the hot button consoomer issues like toys or G4TV; the shill segments were a welcome relief. It was as awful as you might expect, possibly worse.

Perhaps sensing his misstep, Frog played some 2016-era MAGA compilations for 20 minutes then brought on Anna TSWG and Sheila Aliens to emasculate Liam Gray for an efap of his most recent drama stream. This part was much more entertaining. Anna sperged incoherently between rejecting flaggotry and Warcampaign, Sheila played dumb as far as that goes, as well as shared some private DMs Liam sent her about how he wanted to get ahead of rumors of Shiela being added to the "Liam Legend" as one of his many sex victims, and Frog looked nervous as he belatedly realized the precarious position he put himself in by inviting Anna to efap Liam going off about Testefy and Wiggle, getting only 20 minutes into the video. Still, fearing as well as hating Liam's willingness to run to the Youtube report feature, the stream was swiftly privated.

Also, Keung Lee's Battle Maiden Kuckle Bomb. He marketed it under the CG hashtag.

Here's FROG reviewing in back in 2020:

I think there's support within CG for manga, it's just probably not as big as western-style comics. You know the numbers better than I. Battle Maiden Knuckle bomb appears to have done "okay."

Sure there's some but it's a niche within a niche. RGE had some great sales but most of his came from his own show/crowd rather than mainline CG. So while it's there, it's a far cry from even something like Starlight Cats. That book got broad support and one would think a cat book for kids would be a hard sell, even more than manga. No boobs, no fan service etc.. But it sold 6 figures and turned out to be a really good offering.

You and @Mister Dongs are both right, IMO. It's a matter of degree. Yes, there's a place for manga in CG. It seems to do okay. No, it doesn't seem to do anywhere near as well as many of the western-style offerings. The later result is likely because I think CG is a movement that mainly appeals to people are are upset with the sorry ass state of the western comic industry, and who prefer western comics. The people that like manga better can just jump ship to, well... actual manga. Way easier.

I dunno how much involvement CG had with Blade Devil, but if I were in @FROG's shoes, I would absolutely try to claim it on some level. Because if you don't, I am pretty sure the #2 spot in the "CG manga subcategory" is occupied by... wait for it... Xenotype. Bonds: The Drive, Battle Maiden Kuckle Bomber, and A High School Girl in the Crusades are all well behind the top two.

Then again, I like manga far more than @FROG seems to. He might not GAS with how well manga is represented in CG. 🤷‍♂️
