I was referring to this. I was commenting that I disagree with your 'easily a better choice;' that it was underestimating the alternate option. Notice also that I went on to criticize exactly the kind of thinking you say, but maybe I wasn't clear.

I don't think their popularity is tied to fujo-bait, only the designs (though maybe I'm at fault for seeing that as a very specific look). And to point out why I think that it isn't necessary, I'll look at it from the opposite side. There are plenty of designs in Hololive that pander to certain male demographics, but there is at least a large variety. Also, one of the most popular entities is A-Chan, who is probably the least baity design but people still love when she shows up. I think a lot of people here also criticized some of the design choices when they were a bit 'overboard.'

I mean look, the designs of Holostars, and plenty of Nijisanji JP are unique and have range, but I'm not seeing that in the EN branches, and I hope Cover doesn't go that route. Again, I'm talking about design choice primarily. But also, given that Cover puts a bit more emphasis on 'character,' I hope they don't then pigeonhole the talent acquisition with that in mind.

Have we confirmed that Sana isn't a brown girl roommate? She could be rather dark skinned as a SEAsian.

Money is one thing but how they can work with a traitor, somebody who apparently sees them as the enemy? Remember how Rushia claimed to be bullied by other members/senpai not just the management and God knows what she actually leaked but if there was any evidence Cover would be finished. Also keep in mind that probably the most popular story that Narukami got himself involved in was internal drama/bullying allegations between two nijisanji livers where Meiro leaked him screenshots from niji discord and he showed them on screen, it's not like he couldn't do the same thing with hololive if there was anything substancial to go and craft a story.

You really think this girl's smart enough to have thought of that when she made that tweet? It seems far more likely she called her kaichou because she's been so used to calling her that online and didn't stop to think. I wouldn't be surprised if it caught Kson off guard seeing that reply.

I just miss a day or two from checking this site and there already 15+ page when I came back.
At this point, I just had enough with whatever Notrushia doing. That girl is crazy, her recent tweet is showing her twisted-attention seeker-greedy personality, like can you catch a break please? We know that you're jelly with the recent fest or concert (like it could been you, isn't it?), but you ruin that chances yourself. So please... don't ruin other people fun by spreading tidbit rumor lol.

In other note, I want to talk my opinion on Noctyx (it's nearly a month since their debut).
I don't know why... but I don't feel this group chemistry so much, like there's some wall between them. I just hope that chemistry will grow, or with others outside the group itself. Already watch all the member debut, and they're not giving a strong first impression like Luxiem. The only member I watch was Alban Knox. For now, I'll stick with him, Selen, and Ike.

Anyway, does anyone know how to find out the overall membership number?
I join Alban membership, and from the member post he got around 700+ likes (so I assume there must be around 700 user join the membership). From a friend that join Ike membership, his latest member post got around 3.5k likes. I'm curious to know other talent membership number.

Yup, I've been eyeing him for quite while now. Love some of his cover, and he really have talent for it.
Hope he got into NijiEN rather than Holo or Stars EN, just because he have more utaite friends turn vtuber in Niji. But either way, I hope he got in.

Anyone from ID have a comment on this? I wonder if this might effect anything for the ID girls if any of them Yab, etc. . . some Anti making a report and causing an issue.

A bit archaic IMO but it is in Asia where mental illness are usually seen as the most shameful that can only be cured by praying or by drinking mountains of medications, but most of the time it is untreated.

To be fair, some mental illnesses actually are different in Asia compared to other places. For example schizophrenia in Asia doesn't tend to manifest in the same way it does for people in the west.

Instead of the crazy bullshit most people in the west report hearing alot of people in Asia and certain other parts of the world report hearing positive things encouraging them to do things to better themselves. Who knows why, could be diet, genetics, culture. I would imagine it's possible other things like Depression, BPD, etc could be similar cases.

so far i don't think there is so much to change on it since the rule still "whose party paid more to police win" or "if you paid enough, then authorities WILL start to do stuff". also, it's not that when you charge someone you will throw into jail quickly, like the Ollie case recently where some Indonesia hoax about Ollie being a guy, and ID Management said that they will act seriously toward that. In most of the cases here, the first thing you press charges to people or the public, they tend to pick mediation or just say "sorry" and apologize toward the public then the case is closed.

TL;DR new rule is still useless to apply in ID.

especially Vtuber- hence adult watching anime still can be called degenerated, thus the authorities willing to take vtuber case seriously.

I imagine its less of a "these people I don't like, like this thing, so I don't like it anymore." and more of that thing slowly changing because of influence from that circle of people, who in the end care less about the thing itself, and more about it aligning with what they think.
