I haven't actually looked at the state polls lately, but speaking for myself Vance gained a vote just by not pandering to the 80,000 Ukrainian-American voters in a state of 11.5 Million people. I get it, but I'm not electing a senator to represent an east Slavic country run by idiots. Timpkin also was crowing about being Portman's pick, which means she's the establishment pick, so that's an immediate no. I am biased against Mandel in general though, his bowing out of the last Senate race basically gave the seat back to Sherrod "Wife Beater" Brown and Mandel most likely could have taken it. The replacement who didn't have enough money to actually campaign went 48-52 against Brown, it should have been flip.
I'm more surprised at DeWine running again to be honest, but it got him to drop all the stupid COVID bullshit and stop following that idiot in Kentucky. Also just got us permit less carry, but I'll bet if he gets reelected he'll push for Red Flag laws.

Rumor was DeWine was supposed to pave the way for Husted, but him making Husted the heavy on COVID shit for High School sports probably biased a lot of people against Husted. Only reason I can think they'd let the old bugeyed manlet run again. One of my siblings met DeWine at a function once, said he came off as slimy and creepy, even for a politician. I just want to be rid of the old fuck.

Who was that guy running for congress in 2016/2018(?) who body slammed some faggot journo live on an interview? Run him in every state with an open republican ballot.
