Still makes me a little nervous, though, especially since I'm 22 (minor powerlevel: I have a condition that I'm pretty sure is an automatic DQ, but still). I don't know why a draft would be needed, especially since the US military has around 1,376,658 active personnel (ranked third largest in the world after China and India) and close to 800k in reserves according to Wikipedia. Like would a draft even be needed if NATO gets involved? Also as @JosephStalin has said multiple times, a draftee would take six to nine months to get them ready for combat. Is that war even going to last that long to begin with?
Russia is studiously ignoring the many things that theoretically mean they should launch their nukes at the United States. I think the neoconservatives need to step up their game, this apocalypse isn't going to start itself.

I live in a NATO country lol. The more neutered Russia is the better especially since the country in question is a large pile of resources. I hope Ukraine will stave off this invasion, they not only would make a strong NATO partner especially now that the west is glorifying them (rightfully so) and they are tough as nails but they are also valuable partners in business. Why would we give up on these people who have shown the world they are willing to fight tooth and nail against the Reds.
