Your assertion doesn't hold up. Please provide an argument ... you know, several premises and your conclusion that follows from those premises. Otherwise there is no reason to accept anything you say. To this point, how do you arrive at the conclusion that if women and men are equal, then women couldn't be oppressed? How do you explain the oppression of Africans? Native Americans? Homesexuals? Are you saying they are not equal because they were oppressed? Are you even sure you understand what equality means in this context?

Also if women were the same as men they would never have ended up in that situation.

They would have wanted to be in charge and dominate just as much as men do and they also would have had the means to do so (remember,they are equal).

They would have fought wars and conquered and built their own empires where they were in charge.

But that didn't happen of course.And the reason why is very easy to understand yet you still fail to do so.

Just read a biology or anatomy and physiology textbook.

It's 100% scientific that men and women are substantially biologically different.

I mean without even delving way deeper into this,males have tremendously higher testosterone than women.

You really think that this is totally irrelevant and what makes a woman a woman and a man a man is cultural?

If you injected tons of testosterone into a woman or tons of estrogen into a man,you don't think they would be changed by it even if the "sexist" culture they lived in remained the same?

I personally believe what you are describing are gender behaviors prescribed by culture and society, not by nature. We know of several societies where the gender roles are not the same as you describe (see Chambri People etc) . That indicates societal pressures determine gender roles. This happens to also be the view of mainstream anthropology and sociology.

And you would be dead wrong. My wife and I are very progressive when it comes to gender roles, we don't follow what society and culture tells us we should be doing in our relationship. We are equals and operate with cooperation. There is no dominance or submission required or even desired, we work on rationality and the prime motive is allowing each other the space and freedom to achieve our dreams and goals.

But yes you are in fact following exactly what society and culture says you should be doing because our society and "culture"-if you can even call the current degeneracy that- is progressive.

If there's anything you could learn it's that just because you think and say something is true, doesn't mean it is. It's not necessarily true that gender roles prescribed by society are necessary. We know this when examining the structures of different human societies throughout history. i.e. gender roles are not always the same in all societies.

This is the same as someone who doesn't know what drugs are and finding some cocaine,taking it,and thinking it's a miracle because of how it makes him feel.

However that person doesn't realize the long term serious consequences of his cocaine usage.

This is the same thing.There already are and will be serious consequences to doing what you are talking about here.

You seem to think equality means people are literally the same instead of the correct definition that all humans are equal in the sense that they are full members of society with access to the same opportunities without regard to gender, race or disability.
