Every post of this lady is made up of a bunch of out of context non sequiturs that make me feel like I'm having a stroke. I get that you don't like her but for the love of god, are we supposed to know what she's even referring to? Even your explanation about her makes no sense.

@Alamo basement dweller because just a couple of days after I posted about her she made her Twitter private and deleted her IG. I didn't do anything or interact with her in any way. I hadn't even talked about her for a fairly long time so the only explanation is either her or one of her cronies watches me on KF constantly. It's possible that she just lurks here and no one did anything.

I think so. Initially anyway and her chest too.. All the sores are where she can reach. Remember the pink and blue no no splints she had for a while?
The infections are set in now and antibiotic resistant so Paige doesn't need to induce them now. She's more bacteria than woman these days.

It was probably just her other infection(s) spreading, but if she could've induced it somehow I wouldn't put it past her.

I was thinking about that while I scrolled through her recent posts. Not a medfag or a psych expert, but with all of her infections and the proof that it works, you would think that someone would suggest it again at this point. Do her doctors just know it's futile at this point?
Obviously I don't want anyone to die but Paige seems very determined to slowly kill herself with major infections and gather all the asspats along the way. Sometimes mental illness is untreatable.

Forgive me because I'm in the shallow end of munchie lore, so there's probably an answer. But are there any munchies faking blood sugar issues? I was thinking about it the other day. Continuous glucose monitors are visible (usually upper arm) and munchies love visible appliances on their body that make them look sick. Not to mention the "fun" of having a backup finger stick monitor and the production of checking your blood sugar. It seems like a perfect thing to munch because it checks all the boxes. It's visible, it makes you seem sick, and it can be a production.

If not, is it because their blood sugar would betray their "sickness" with numbers that come back completely normal? Seems easy enough to manipulate yourself into bad numbers by sneaking glucose tabs and shit. Plus you get the added side effect of actually feeling like shit. Or is it because diabetes doesn't have enough street cred sorry points?

diabetes is almost totally manageable. A lot of the EDS/GP shit is because it's more pitiable than not taking responsability for an eating disorde. To get sympathy and ass pats, some part of it has to be totally outside of your control.

I was also pondering about this. Paige must have a care plan. How far would docs go with "heroic measures" to bring her back from the edge.
I guess the colostomy is something relatively simple they could do to save her a really horrific death with her bowel rotting inside her.
I suppose the best case scenario for paige is a virulent, resistant infection reaches the heart or brain, one or other fails and its all over in 48 hours.

Strong case for euthanasia or assisted suicide IMO. How does Paige have a Good Death?

Injecting yourself with insulin when you are not diabetic is a sure way of entering into a coma, but it's hard to soak up the attention when you are unconscious. I posit they do not fake diabetes because the disease itself sucks too much and no one gets any asspats for having it even when it's Type 1.

I was assuming they'd never do the insulin part, just the "oh no my blood sugar is low I'm so weak" part. Maybe alluding to diabetes but only calling it a vauge "blood sugar issue" leaning more towards hypo than hyper.

I have seen a few type 1 folks make it their entire personality so that got me wondering too. I feel like you can munch anything if you try hard enough

Also frequently suicide baits with insulin, and has claimed mysterious super special insulin resistance that totally isn't normal with every diabetic. Isn't necessary faking, but still playing victim and OTT.

I know there's quite a few generally claimed hypos, Dani and Hope come to mind as showing off tests of the low variety. Definitely goes with the fainting couch persona.

I think it might be because diabetes has objective diagnostic criteria; munchies go for an ill-defined or self-diagnosed hypoglycemia. You can get your own untrained "blood sugar service dog," but your insurance won't fund a CGM unless you have a documented need.

And no matter how loudly they HAES, deep down everyone knows that Type II diabetes has the fat stigma plus association with the elderly. If someone actually has DMII, then there's all kinds of rhinestone glucometer cope, but it's not a diagnosis they try to seek out.

Is a Type I diabetic who won't shut up about being a DIABETES WARRIOR a munchie, or is over-identifying with a legitimate chronic illness something else? It's definitely just as annoying.

Probably worse for the diabetic children of DIABETES WARRIOR MOM -- A JUICE BOX SAVED MY SON'S LIFE. It's like having a mom who's an Autism Mom, except you don't even have the chance of being socially unaware of the cringe.
