Not surprised if Ukraine managed to gain enough momentum, they would also push for liberating Donbass. Not sure about Crimea though, Kremlin probably would choose Crimea over Donbass
Even if Ukraine pushes Russia away from Kiev and Kharkiv, they are going to be in a sticky situation in the south. The best Ukrainian troops are on the Northern Front right now, and sending them to the south would risk allowing Russia to reorganize and make another push.

Russia failing to take Kiev is going to put Ukraine in a pickle. They will have to decide if the border with Belarus and the Russian Federation is inviolate, or whether they need to keep going and keep hitting the enemy army to prevent them from regrouping. In essence, invading Belarus and Russia proper.

We are still a ways off from that point though. At a minimum though Russias attempt to take Kiev can be officially labeled a failure. The question now is if Russia can hold their position.

Well I start my post with the UFC Women's Flyweight Champion doing some sort of dance as she calls herself Russian despite parents being from Ukraine.

Now here are the memes that I got from the Russian chans today.

Speaking of which the situation at 4A games has got to be really uncomfortable since they're Ukrainians but their company is owned by Saber Interactive which is headed by Russians located in the only place in the west that can handle insane Russians, Florida.
This sounds like the set up to the Florida man story of the decade. I can't wait.

They are getting western assistance, reports show that U.S. and U.K. sources are supplying them with fresh, untraceable intelligence reports of enemy positions within the hour. Moving on to Belarus would be colossally stupid, the belarusians are just fucking around as they are even less motivated than the russians are (and Lukashenko needs his army at home to keep the people from kicking him out) to get in this conflict, sending troops into Belarus changes this abruptly. They have no reason to do that, they should focus on wearing the russians down as much as they can and slowly regain territory to the best of their ability, driving them out by crippling their supply lines as they are currently doing!

Its funny its been 30 years since the fall of the Soviet Union and they are still making the same fucking mistakes.
The smart ones here are the guys that pilfered what they could and had the foresight of storing their ill gotten gains on trusts or other sources that are immune to direct sanctions. Or the guys that stole just enough to live comfortably but not enough to be high profile targets for both sides. Putin has been talking about this pipe dream of rebuilding the Russian Empire/The Soviet Union for decades, anyone with enough foresight to know this could all blow over one day would have done this!

Mind you, I understand jack shit about criminal and financial laws, but I know enough that, in the position of one of these oligarchs, I should at least have some vast reserves out of reach unless they are absurdly motivated to get back at me. The suckers here are the ones that actually believe in this horseshit of great empires in 2022, and the victims are the poor folks in both countries that are suffering from this mess while being unable to do nothing!

Well we are going to find out. Apparently the Russians in the north have started building Trenches. Which means they are getting to repel a counter offensive.

Pretty sure that's a Cossack related thing. Despite what our resident Hohol's terrified of the genocidal Russians living under their beds and in their closets say, relations between Ukrainians and Russians aren't always antagonistic. There's a lot of ethnic Ukrainians in Russia that the Russians somehow haven't genocided yet, although I'm sure it's just a matter of time and not the Ukie's version of East Slavic paranoia or anything.

Of course since this guy is a massive neocon faggot, rather than praising the idea of a peaceful end to the conflict he has to go ahead and pray for more bloodshed:
“I have it on excellent sources that for more than a week now, the Biden administration has been putting pressure on President Zelensky to cut a deal. And that is shameful. Really shameful,” he said. “And I’m convinced it’s happening. And we got to get off of that page and get on the page to helping Zelensky win this war and have the resolve to stand up to the threats of [Weapons of Mass Destruction] that Putin is making.”

Look, the Neo-Cons are just willing to fight the Russians to the last Ukrainian. It'll probably make their stock in the MIC go up and we all know that's what's most important in life.

You amuse me - and that greatly - but this right here is how I know you’re not the real Baraka Hussein Abu Oumama; Vagasil Jarrett was the creep state compliance officer in that regime, not Rahmbo.
We were friends dating back to our time in the Chicago scene. He wasn't showing it to me in a "this is what we're going to do to you" context. It was more like a "some of you guys are alright, don't go to school tomorrow" warning.
