BREAKING: Biden says 'food shortages are gonna be real' - "With regard to food shortages. Yes, we did talk about food shortages. And, and it's gonna be real," Biden said.

President Joe Biden held a press conference in Brussels on Thursday, during a trip to Europe amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

He took questions from reporters about concerns of growing food insecurity globally, as the two nations that are currently in conflict provide much of the world's wheat.

"Can you say whether there's the conversation is a turn to the subject of food shortages and what the US will do to address wheat shortages in particular, as a result of this?" Biden was asked.

"With regard to food shortages. Yes, we did talk about food shortages. And, and it's gonna be real," Biden said.

"The price of the sanctions is not just imposed upon Russia. It's imposed upon an awful lot of countries as well. Including European countries and our country as well," he went on.

The United States and NATO nations have issued major sanctions against the Russian economy, pushing Russia to engage in trade with nations that are not part of the western alliance.

"And because both Russia and Ukraine have been the breadbasket of Europe in terms of wheat, for example, just give one example. But we had a long discussion in the G7 with the, with both the United States, which has a significant third-largest producer of wheat in the world, as well as Canada, which is also a major, major producer," Biden said.

"And we both talked about how we could increase and disseminate more rapidly, food shortages. In addition to that, we talked about urging all European countries and everyone else end trade restrictions on sending, limitations on sending food abroad.

"And so we are in the process of working out with our European friends, what it would be, what it would take to help alleviate the concerns relative to food shortages.

"We also talked about a significant major US investment, among others, in terms of providing for, the need for humanitarian assistance, including food as we move forward," Biden concluded.

The flag of Ukraine, blue on top and gold on the bottom, represents the sky and fields of wheat.

Consumer prices have risen consistently in the US on everything from food, to fuel, to supplies. Concerns have been mounting as the Ukraine conflict continues that prices increases will not abate, but will continue their rise unimpeded.

It's time to stock up Kiwi's you don't want to starve. I hope Putin is able to wraps up this operation soon. A positive thing this will do is make more people turn against their governments.
Nigga, I got everything:
Cranberries
Kidney beans
Black beans
Corn beef and hash
Pineapple
Peaches
Spam
Pancake mix
Yeast
Flour
Chocolates
Instant mashed taters
Instant oatmeal
Twinkies

You like pasta? I've gots:
Spaghetti
Angel hair
Elbow
Bowtie
Zeti
Rigatoni

You've got Yellow fever? I've gots all the Ramen you'd ever want:
Spicy seafood
Spicy beef
Jangjanmeaun
All kinds of Asian shit.

And that's all from the top of my head.

Meanwhile I'll be living in "flyover country" in "the middle of nowhere" still getting choice porterhouse for ten bucks a pound and pork ribs for four. If I ever get tired of unlimited cheap meat I can walk across the road and grab a couple million ears of corn. This is what life is like when you live on the same block your food comes from.

Enjoy your concrete coffins, city-dwellers.
Lucky. My flyover state is just acre upon acre of Monsanto corn for making ethanol and HFCS. I do have a decent stockpile of rice, beans, and canned veggies at least.

Feels good having a few hundred pounds of rice, enough bouillon to feed an army, and about 20 pounds of pemmican stockpiled. Should get around to making more pemmican though. I would recommend everyone get around to it while meat is somewhat cheap.
Just make sure the rice is frozen or vacuum sealed. You do not want bugs to grow in the rice after around a year.

The sanction has hurt everyone BUT Russia. Holy fucking shit.
That is incorrect. Those sanctions are royally fucking the Russian people. the problem is that this will not hurt as much as people think against the Oligarchs and Putin.

Now apart from all of this HOW IN THE FUCK THIS HAS TO DO WITH FOOD SHORTAGES???

This is a A GOD DAMNED LIE!!! This is Biden's Fault AND THE SOCIALISTIC DEMOCRATIC MACHINE.

And they are trying to pin their mistakes of how they got in power and how they are controlling the country.

Make no mistake. You do NOT print money to hide the weakness of your economy. THIS CAUSES INFLATION.

You do not shut down the entire country for political gain BY using a pandemic
THAT THEY MADE IT WORSE.

Finally food shortages are overblown a bit... CHEAP stuff is disappearing. Not the expensive name brand products. I am NOT seeing any food shortages anywhere in my region. I just bought 24 pounds of top round for $3.59 a pound. All I see are excuses.

And I will say the following GREED IS PLAYING INTO THIS MORE THAN EVER.

I have mentioned many times about Chinesium OSB plywood. You maaaaybe make a case for the cost of transport and tariffs, except that Chinesium plywood went down to $18 last December. HOWEVER WHY is Georgia Pacific OSB PLYWOOD that comes from the US $50 dollars a fucking sheet several weeks ag. Cost of gas??? No this was before the sanctions. This about rampant greed by corporations raping the middle class and our government DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT.

Giving out gas cards???? BRRRRRR GOES THE PRINTING PRESS.

The food shortages because of the sanctions IMHO ARE a lie in the US. It is just another excuse by the Biden Administration to cover up all of their mistakes.

Mid Terms are coming... VOTE THESE FUCKERS WHO ARE UP FOR ELECTION OUT!!!

That is how you take back this government.

Since this is relevant On how I feel about the lies that have been going on.

Again I don't like the man. I have dealt with these types of people like this before and is the reason "why" I use my money as a shield to protect myself....

But I will say that he does not lose many lawsuits. So I'm wondering what this will come out too.

Interesting never the less.
