To be fair we are talking about someone so deep in the coom they thought it would be a good idea to blow anywhere from 10-15k on a gigantic pair of bolt on tits, when they themselves are already the size of a barn so what's expensive to a 'normal' furry would be seen as pennies to someone with this terminal case of AGP.

at the end of the day, the furry fandom is a game about accruing social capital via the coomer art you make or buy. with that in mind, dropping a few hundred on a piece from a 10k+ follow artist is a better investment than dropping a hundo on a 1k artist.

as a coom connoisseur & consoomer I refuse to commission anything but the finest coom :drink:

There always seemed to be a tranny element in furry going back to the 1990s. They tend to just up and disappear because, lets face it, troons don't age well. That's why these congregate in these little nests, but as furries age, they tend to get stuck in whatever their peak generation was and can't adapt to the contemporary fandoms. Mix into the idea that they're freaks and have huge issues with day to day life, having to manage all the genociders after them, all crazy conspiracies they come up, and still manage to function someone in a social situation that's decades ahead of when they were around probably just isn't worth the effort.

I mean most of these older trooned will disappear a good number will change their politics and mindset like a Jerry Springer guest.

I suspect that within a couple years you're going to see a radical change within the fandom and these trooned will find themselves pushed out.

Feel like the older troonery was a different thing; you had a buncha sex-starved sci-fi nerds with heterosexual fantasies but a shortage of women, and so people started portraying themselves as women in art & costumes to have gay sex or e-sex but with heterosexual imagery.

..the difference now being that this women-embodiment is viewed as a personal identity, whereas back then it was just a character separate from yourself.

Answered your own question, I think.

These people's interests are so narrow that their only available topics are coomposting and eating since that's the only thing they do. Transitioning and furry trash just fall under more wankbait, and sleeping is too boring to talk about, so they otherwise run out of subjects without food. They probably play video games or watch hyperconsumerist TV and that's it, and I'm willing to bet a third of their conversations surrounding that fact eventually redirect to even more coomposting.

I think a neurological dopamine deficit, be it adhd or certain forms of autism or w/e, really just explains it all- furries, vidya, excessive eating, drug use, coomerism, consoomerism, twitter addiction, troonery. All of these can increase dope in the brain either directly (food, masturbation, drugs, buying an object, immediate push-button-get-feedback in vidya) or socially (approval from the trans/furry community, tweet likes & new followers to demonstrate it). To PL my own falling out was recognizing how so much of my participation in these communities was motivated by getting my next dope fix.
