Feedback No 'clickbaity' titles for threads

I said this before when Null initially talked about it, but thread titles are a lot more useful just attention whoring.

From the OP example, Brianna Wu and DSP are edge cases because of how huge they are outside the lolcow world. Who is JaclynGlenn? Why do I even care to click through her thread?

At least Any Lew and Stefonknee give me a brief synopsis of who they are and why I might want to click through - clickbait title be damned. Content will be limited and threads will die earlier if you don't give people a reason to open them in the first place.

It really helps out the more obscure lolcows that get threads here or those that not everyone knows about as much (yet), unless their name itself is like whiteguys inmyface and that alone is enough to make people want to read the thread just to see what his deal is. DSP and those kinds of cows have already been well established for years and have a lot of people that already knew about them before threads on them were ever made and Brianna Wu has gotten a lot of media attention as well.

Sometimes it is preferable to wait and see if you can uncover more information about a lolcow so they have a more accurate thread title but it's less likely that a thread will get lost underneath 100s if there is a description.
 
Especially in the ADF subforum, a lot of the update thread titles have barely anything to do with what Phil actually posted on facebook or tumblr or whatever

Nope, pretty damn sure I'd be going the other way, if either existed. Despite that, definitely believe at least some info in the thread title helps us decide whether we should care about <obscure lolcowname here>
 
Why is OP trying to antagonise, troll and trigger Shaner fans again? The words "foamer" and "trainsperg" have never been used in a thread title outside Shaner threads.

The Shaner threads were the funniest thing to happen to the Farms since Jace, and we don't need to be reminded that we lost them because a certain somebody couldn't deal with having his jimmies rustled by one of the dumbest people ever to draw breath. #realtalk

I actually prefer having longer titles but best to have it like this:

Lolcow Name & Aliases: Short Lolcow Description

And like what @Smutley posted it could give a good introduction to new lolcows too.
