The problem with gold is that outside of its industrial value, its only worth as much as what people are willing to trade for it. If very few people are willing to do business with you and the only people who are, have limited means to facilitate the exchange of goods(Interconnected roads, railways, ect.) then it doesn't really matter how much gold you have. Its only worth what you can get for it.

Historically you could always get a lot for it.
Gold isn't practical for day to day use now since people demand instant transaction. Today its for long term storage for wealth. Take a gold coin from 2000 years ago. That same gold coin today still has value where as fiat money comes and goes.

The USA keeps around 8000 tons and most other national central banks have been stacking lately as a hedge bet.

One district away from Azovstal' metalworks. Russian forces are trying to cut Ukrainian forces in two.
Dude says that all the remaining Azov forces are being pushed back to that Azovstal' factory, which he estimates will take around 5 days. Also complains that UAVs are indeed a menace.
Algorithm seems to be like this: Tanks shoot the shit out of defender's positions and then infantry goes in. Commieblock after commieblock.

Azov likely ran out of antitank munitions or is near-depletion which has allowed enemy armor to roll in. I wonder if that street fighting IFV bought it or simply ran out of ammo as well.
Either way without support from the supposed counteroffensive they get ground down.
I'm sure when its all said and done we will see more footage of chechens shooting at empty commieblocs and kadyrov boasting from behind the lines.

Apparently the strike happened when Biden was near the Polish border of Ukraine. Its more of a political threat instead of strikes with actual tactical purpose

I fear that the west is sleepwalking into war.

Biden's recent speech in Poland and the recent article of a U.S. senior official saying that their endgoal is regime change in Russia are hints of what is to come.

More deadlier weapons are going to be shipped to Ukraine, that's guaranteed.

The longer this war goes on the harder it will be for the west to not intervene.
