How about no.

The problem with ~inclusive language~ is it's so hard to get right and can very easily feel forced and clunky. We've seen bad examples here, written by troons even! So let me talk a bit about an author who does it well.

To see it done right read T. Kingfisher's Saint of Steel books, and the other books set in that universe - specificlly Swordheart. She has a character in Swordheart (I think they pop up in other books, but I won't swear to that) that's non-binary, but it's so subtly written into the story that I didn't realize it was non-binary until I was almost done with the book, and it's a fairly major minor side character. She (Kingfisher) gives absolutely no hints as to the sex of the character, and it absolutely doesn’t matter. It's just not an issue at all.

Honestly, if all ~gender queer~ shit was treated/expressed like this character is in these books I don't think there would be such a push even among Republicans to stop them.

If you like subtle yet also obvious humor, fantasy with a dark edge to it, mysteries, and wholesome (yet explicit) slow-burning romances, I cannot recommend T. Kingfisher's books enough. Every one I've read has been amazing. So sweet and just so damn funny. Even if romance isn't your thing but you like fantasy with happy endings, you'd probably like them.

Oh, please, do cancel Terry Pratchett's work because Nobby Nobbs wearing a dress for comedic purposes is wrongthink. I don't want you maniacs and your reverse Midas touch anywhere near Discworld.

Some top tier malicious compliance from mom there!

That is exactly what some in the comments are saying. Troons are so exhausting, a lot of them want all the benefits of transitioning to another gender while still maintaining the privileges afforded to them by their birth gender. A perfect, recent example is the Ukrainian troon that went right back to temporarily “identifying” as the woman she was born as so that she could escape the Ukraine. Now (assuming this story is real), we have this “transbian” getting pissy that his mother is treating him exactly how his mother would treat him if he was actually the eldest lesbian daughter. Tough shit, you lost the ring the moment you wanted to LARP as a lesbian.

This is a straight man LARPing as a lesbian, nothing more. He is just pissed that he now has buy an expensive ass engagement ring because he wanted to coom. He quite literally has to pay for his degeneracy.:story:

LOL.

It's easy to sperg on Twitter about the bad transphobes, but how many of those romance authors are going to be willing to give up sales to look good for the gender spesh?

There's a category for trans romance on Amazon already. Readers into that can get their fix from there, where it's clearly labelled. Somehow, I don't think lot of romance readers will be happy if they pick up a straight romance only to find out the female lead is a dude with an amhole.

Phew, so. I hope this person wasn't shared 1000 times here before, but I found this slightly weird guy from France who's somehow very much involved in the whole (gothic) lolita culture going on there.

From his profile, I found a rabbithole of beard-shadowed dads dressing up in cute lolita dresses, and posing with other girls in lolita clothes. I'm not sure if any of them are actually transsexual, but it was still worth sharing here just for some laughs at how awkward they all look.

Some handmaiden types will try to comply by adding trans side characters who won't challenge the rigid categorizations of the romance industry. All this will accomplish is getting them on the radar of TRAs, who will then publicly savage them for not writing trans main characters.

Sadly, the trannies love Pratchett. His daughter was pissed that the terfs were using his words a while back.

I know I would be pissed. I don't tend to leave reviews, just stars, but you better believe any tranny novel that I pick up that's unlabeled will get a scathing one star review under my powerword on Amazon and Goodreads.

I'm not an expert, but I feel like talking about women having penises would rightfully disgust people and would never go over well with the average Joe.
That's not a period cramp. That's his body reacting to having an axe wound.

Undeniable proof that all this troonism is just naked self-interest plain and simple. They don't want to be the other gender, they just want to have their cake and eat it too.

Suspect I’m going to be in a minority here, but these men go so far past legit and creepy that they’re just wallowing in hilarious territory for me. They’re funny as fuck trying to look cute and goth - the mix of old-fashioned clothes and pantomime dame style, it’s spectacular.

HE’S BEHIND YOUUUUUU etc (or whatever it is in Frog).

It's a rare event to see twitter troons unperson another troon who is creeping on teens and being sex pest. I'll have to give them this one, for once they made the right decision. I'm sure the defense squad will come in soon now that he's suicide baiting, though.

Pedo troons don't like competition.

I'm just so tired of this "only consume good works" mentality that people present online, especially when it comes to "representation". First, it turns the act of reading or taking in any sort of media into a joyless checklist of meeting the proper quotas. But also, it's contradictory, the same way all troon shit is. They simultaneously want a genderless blob world where the very idea of gender conventions don't exist, while wanting every one to really respect the gender identities and represent every single one, even if it's a person who says they're a 7 on the 0-1 gender binary. Everybody should be hyperaware of gender at all times, while they exist in a culture that has done away with it entirely. The most boring, joyless way of approaching writing. If they want to play with ideas of gender, go ahead, but don't fucking straightjacket all other authors in the name of sanitizing all books to protect your crystal fragile sense of self.

Detrans interview from YouTube. Who knows how long this will be up. This guy’s social life is probably dead.

Too busy to archive. Someone pls help.
It'll probably stay up-- Soft White Underbelly's thing is very off-beat, unusual interviews. He's done several with sex offenders, all variants of drug addicts, inbred families, etc. though my personal favorites are his interviews in Appalachia. It's amazing work (if you like this sort of thing).

Also, do we have a tranny sighting thread like we have the deathfat encounters thread?

They use to use the argument that you see this person that looks female but is Male why would you misgender them.

But now we're at this point when 99% would think the person was male and we're supposed to not just call them female but we are evil for not believing it.

If you are a woman seeing one of these guys in the female changing room the normal woman is going to be scared.
