Well here is the thing, even if it is 100% true (I'd argue 95% true) how does one prove it? It's been too long and there is no DNA evidence. Conversation about what happened is either hear say or not going to be painted as "date rape" unless Ralph is retarded enough to text "Yeah bitch, I'm nick name you da squirel because da ralpha-male stuffed your mouth full of muh nut while you were unconsious and don't try and say you didn't want it like you did moments before I got you black out drunk".... and even if he IS dumb enough to do that he can chalk it up to "I was just kidding bro, I'm just 3edgy5u!"
Now lets point out that she Remained friends with Meigh/Ralph and lied to Meigh in writing about it not happening.
Now lets throw in the Baked Alaska pimping her out to his friends, her obvious clout chasing behavior, her taking some responsibility for what happened in that she knew she was going to black out and probably do something and she had been turning down his repeat advances earlier in the night but would not leave because Corrin convinced her she had a duty to fix the problems that she caused by telling Meigh that she could do better than Ralph. BTW, Alice had public relationships with some of those friends, so she is not entirely unwilling.
BUT EVEN THEN, LET'S SAY RALPHS RALPHA-CUM STAYED LODGED IN A CORN KERNEL STUCK IN HER TEETH SHE FILES A REPORT AND GETS DNA EVIDENCE THAT SHE TASTED THE BABY CORN AND IT'S STRANDS OF CORN SILK... Now you have to prove it wasn't conscentual AT THE TIME.
She would lose this case with anything less than a video of Ralph getting her drunk and fucking her mouth while blacked out, especially given the time that has passed. She also does not seem interested in pressing charges and just wants this to go away. This would be an EASY WIN for the ralpha male if there wasn't a sex-offense related suspended sentence over his head which has a HIGH LIKELYHOOD of becoming active based on the pattern of behavior.
However Alice just wants to take this L and move on, I also think she is legit scared as we saw how vindictive this entire circle of sex pests are. Alice is your standard lowself esteem lonely girl who wants attention and wants to achieve something (such as fame). She doesn't seem to have a lot of discipline, seeks alcohol and sex when she feels bad to cope, loses self control, and has no sense of responsibility hence why she can love animals so much yet impulsively do shitty stuff to her dog.
She isn't a malicious person (which is why while disaproving of the dog stuff I don't consider her a zoo Sadist) and if she was in college she would be failing out of school in a party phase like most girls but she'd at least have a little more self respect. It's easy to feel bad for her and tread close to simp territory because she is young, pretty, and falls in the Manic-pixie dream girl type that is the crazy dudes actively seek to stick their dicks into because they think THEY will fix her. I'd even argue she's fixable, I mean she will never be a college graduate but sobering up, learning responsibility and stopping the seeking of negative attention would leave a person who is pretty resilient behind. If she only had positive influences in her life instead of shitty people who seek to use her she could be happy.... right? RIGHT? Well it's not that simple.
What is key to remember with addict behavior is they have to WANT to change. Alice (for now) does not. She doesn't care about the negative shit said to her because it makes her money. She doesn't care about having a place of her own because she has guys she can live with so long as she fucks them. She doesn't want to get sober (or soberish) cause she is at an age where her body recovers quickly from getting fucked up and it feels good and makes her less sad. She doesn't want to meet better people because better people are not exciting and fun and have audiences. With as shit as things are she just sees this as her party years that has the potential to make her FAMOUS!
And you can't force someone to want to change. Her pressing charges or not is her choice. I know I should only care about the entertainment value but seeing addicts spiral is my thing that bothers me.
I have a long history dealing with addicts, it can be heart breaking and infuriating.
But there is hope, even if that day isn't today and you fall a few times along the way.
@alicesroom I know you think certain things right infront of you right now are super important, but you'll learn in time they aren't. When that happens, don't give up on yourself. In the mean time don't convince yourself you should tolerate doing things that aren't good for you to further you getting closer to your dreams and goals. It's one step at a time and even the smallest changes in the right direction grow over time.
