I thought so too at first, but with Phil it’s usually better to apply Occam’s razor.
I thought he was going to; the screen went black and he went all "We may not have time to come back and do anything." But he's back.
You joke, but this is what Phil does every day, just with a much smaller amount of money. He's always honing in on that perfect sweet spot where he's not really going to lose everything, but no one should feel like he's okay either.
It gets better/worse when you realize that that means he KNOWS he's going to make such a stupid mistake and it doesn't occur to him to stop making the stupid mistake. He just avoids the game that will draw more attention to this refusal to adapt, on even a child's level.
If it was a faulty cable, he would be bitching about it at least a little bit. But I'll admit I have no idea what else it could've been. Kat suddenly needing him for something would be very odd, especially if it's not enough to force him to just stop. Unless it's the real reason he ragequit the stream...
I hope this is the real Derich as that would be really funny, but sadly it's most likely not.
He stealth begged for a new PC as soon as he "fixed" the issue. The donated pre-built robust mature adult overpriced office workstation PC is gonna be the next positive change to his stream right after he buys another vest and hat.
The fact that none of the "whales" have stepped up to buy him a new PC after months of begging for one is further evidence that they're only involved to watch him flail and continue making a fool of himself as much as we are. They'll buy him all the fucking goofy hats and $30 broke-ass "gamer chairs" all day long but nothing that actually improves his product for mass consumption.
This boss has been the best so far. Phil keeps swinging at it from way outside melee range and whining that he misses. The boss does a little jump back before it attacks, and phil just stands there so he's out of range. "Bullshit hit boxes". X fucking D
You kiddin? From last I saw Phil barely got a map slice for the western chunk of the plateau. Expect him to maybe make his way to the Volcano Manor in a week before he turns around and takes another weak to reach the capital. There's no way he'll find the poopy-man, much less his 5 curses before the middle of April.
With the pace he's going at right now, I'm kind of expecting him to be playing this game for potentially half a year (maybe slightly less) at this point, he will do more pointless wandering around the map trying to find every nook and cranny he can find, pigsplaining everything he can see and read for hours on end, stumbling on bosses for ages (despite reading guides in how to beat them) and continuously dying so much that it will make the death counter exceed 1000 deaths easily (btw follow the snort burnell counter as I believe that's the most accurate).
