He wasn't even shit talking all he did was speculate that council wasn't pulling the numbers cover expected and thats not shitting on council there are many reasons for the numbers to be low and not all of them a result of the talents talent

It would be one thing if he said "mumei is a shitty streamer so shes screwing councils overall numbers" if he did that then yeah i wouldn't be defending him

He made a stupid comment regarding council viewership woopty doo to compare something like that to Veis assertion that cover borderline abuses their talent is asinine

These people were not attacking Fulgur for what he said, he wasn't 'taking' any 'shit', they were swarming to take control of Ollie.

If you want to use the water cooler analogy: If you're caught speculating about why a department is hiring new staff, and an existing staff member hears you say that you think it's because their current workers aren't meeting projections and decides they don't care, then it's not for a third party to come in and tell them that if they aren't offended then they aren't representing the company properly.

It doesn't matter what fandom they belong to, fans having the power to dictate to Ollie what she should and shouldn't do, as well as how, when and where she should talk to people is just plain wrong. This is especially true when they thinly veil passive-aggressive remarks like questioning her reputation within and outside of the company if she doesn't do as she's told.

But the getting caught part still stands, while we can agree the third party is being a dumbfuck, they were given ammunition to start shit, even if the other 2 don't even care. Hell, it was never about the content of the screenshot, imagine if it was just flowers and encouraging messages (in its entirety, since there was a Niji member doing exactly that) all over. It certainly would have left a much better impression, even better, it wouldn't be surprising if the rest of the vent channel had pretty nice messages.
This just gave tribalfags and trolls ammunition to fling shit, and some people to believe it was a big drama and just decide to not bother with Niji, even if the content is good, the fact that the screenshot exists gives space for others to say "Hey, did you know.." and just spew stuff, even if its some minor thing.

Ah yes, because Niji talents speculating about how their competitors aren't doing too well when they themselves couldn't even get the same results as Holos who literally don't stream for months would totally make me want to watch them

But I wouldn't be surprised if this all part of Fulgur's grand scheme - he hasn't been secretive about the fact that he doesn't want a large viewerrship. My rrat is he purposefully did this to shave off his fanbase a bit more

That's not just any account, it's "Nameless Fortuneteller" and that's how Su interacted with Kurea when she called in for totsumachi post graduation.

Takedown request may or may not be relevant since in that comment the fortuneteller mentioned redistribution is explicitly forbidden as mentioned in Sephira's Google Drive, kind of saying that she's grateful people go this far to preserve her memories but rules are rules.

I personally have enjoyed the fact that after that screenshot, there have been a couple of hiccups on Niji's side that just makes the overall situation funnier. Like the whole thing with pirating porn on that other member that has cancelled or postponed some events, Yugo's comment on the earthquake and showing, once again, his whole screen in a stream. Sure, they have nothing to do with each other, but the timing has been just perfect.
But yeah, again, even if the comment isn't a big deal, it was still a negative comment, and Fulgur's specifically wasn't made in a position he should be talking, i could probably understand if Vox did it, but no, literally the very fresh newbie decided to do that, who hasn't (at the time) added anything to NijiEN's popularity for that statement to be correct.

We're talking about Fulgur, a guy who doesn't follow HoloENs and has expressed little to no interest in HoloEN, getting a reply from Ollie that he did not solicit in any way, only for HoloEN fans to gang up on Ollie for speaking to someone they dislike and make Ollie delete the tweet before Fulgur even said anything.

I'm sure Fulgur noticed it, and I doubt he doesn't care at all, but he wasn't the one "taking shit" here. I don't think he cares much if his Hololive social credit score is zero, unlike, say, Vox or Pomu or Millie.

The Nipple Porn Pirate guy happened before the discord leak. But yeah, that weeks are funny because there were fuck up from both Holo and Niji in very short intervals to each other. Speaking about the pirated porn, Yugo have returned after the earthquake hiatus, but is there any words about Lauren? I kind of want to see his return stream because people are definitely going to meme his taste in porn

I grew up playing sports so I've always been apart of a team and really enjoyed the rivalry aspect of it. For that reason I dont really like it when the two play nice, call it tribalism or whatever idc.

Having said that I still completely agree with you. I think fans should be able to voice opinions but those opinions shouldn't have the power to influence anyone. I hope Ollie and Fulgur deleted the tweets because they realized it's not worth it fans are dumb instead of oh no the fans are gonna hate me.
