Honestly, I'm fairly certain they behave somewhat similar, but atleast they have a braincell or two to not immediately post it on Internet for whatever reason.
Filming your warcrimes on phones is some next-level retardation.

I have to imagine at this point that more than a few Ukrainian army unit commanders are forcing their troops to give up their phones and smashing them with hammers because of this shit. After 2014, they really should know better than to let people in the field have phones.

Not really. The earlier part of the thread I found interesting and more diverse but it's settled into what you described and I stopped frequenting it as a result. I find it very interesting how they see this place as pro-Putin and anti-Ukraine and figured it'd be fun for people to see the takes they had on the POW leg-shooting since it was quite different from here.

Come to think of it, I can't remember any major Russian war in last century or two fought in Siberia, excluding the Civil War.
Only the soviet-japanese war that comes to mind.

Let's be fair, all iterations of the Russian polity was never really known for its military prowess. Every single one of its legendary victories can be attributed to the innate Russian will to survive, superior numbers and materiel, the harsh winters or simple hubris from its invading foes, but it has never been attributed to brilliant generalship.

Honestly I've just been assuming the ukies have similar losses to the Russians, we've just been seeing less of their destroyed equipment because the Russians publish less, both officially and unofficially.

I think its fair to say that we won't know those for decades to come. Hell, people still speculate over Winter War and WW2, and how long has it been since those?
