It seems like testosterone is a one way street- the dose you get as a. One off, at any point effects you for life.

The dose MtFs have as teens is pretty much their lot in terms of how it effects them, things can’t really be reversed, structurally-
Things that refresh can, like sweat and skin and hair and such, but their body shape and structure, not so much.

And the T that Tifs take is the same- it will do its job and it won’t be undone- the top layer can be, but the changes testosterone makes are permanent.
It’s cruel for both MtFs who are happy to stay like that, as well as detran ex TiFs

I've seen comments before about people having gone "too far" to detransition. There are points post-HRT (and obviously post-surgery) at which a person will have permanent damage they will have to live with forever. This shouldn't be denied or brushed off.
But imo there's never an objective "point of no return" for any of them. As far as we currently know. Hrt is another frontier of the wild west of troonism. There's no proper studies done or any way to know what sort of long term problems regularly exposing yourself to high doses of synthetic hormones of the opposite sex could actually cause.

There's a whole speciality in medicine dealing with hormones and in any regular person abnormally high levels, especially of the hormones more naturally plentiful in the opposite sex, is something that needs to be treated as it's a serious problem. It's entirely possible they could get off hormones but have significantly damaged something internally.
