While the joke hit a nerve it is in line with Chris's brand of comedy, though roasting other black people is a thin line in general as you'll get reactions like this.

Will definitely is a broken man overall and has been spiraling downhill for years. All that pent up anger had to be released somewhere to "prove" himself, but makes himself look more bitchmade once you get more context.

The standard black man approach really.

Talk shit get hit, that rule is universal. But damn did Chris make Will out to be a bitch made faggot that had to defend his wife’s honor.

Normally it’s assholes that get justly wrecked but here Chris isn’t in the wrong, its Will. Which goes to show that Black people vs Niggers is one of the best comedy show Chris Rock has ever made and who is a Black man and who is a Nigger at the Oscars.

You notice how will had a run up on a sucker punch and is about a foot taller and Chris just ate it? Not to mention kept his shit together.

Chris either has an iron jaw or wills as big a pansy I suspect him to be

Troy Kutsor won Best Supporting Actor for Coda.

Coda won Best Adapted Screenplay
I'm actually happy that Coda won this many awards. Especially Troy Kutsor winning best surpporting actor. I remmber watching him on Sue Thomas F.B.I Eye (a show form the 2000s). He wasn't a main character but a recurring character. His wife was playing the main lead. She's also deaf but can read lips and speak. Anyways I did watch independent movie they did on tubi that I liked. Anyways nice to see one of them win a big award like the Oscar. Even if I think the Oscars are worthless these days. Anyways after this I think we may get to see them in bigger stuff now. So I'm actually happy about them.
This is why I think it wasn't stage. I know the Oscars are desperate for ratings and all. But they also like to act progressive. And having it staged that two black guys punching each other. Does not sound progressive. So I believe it was real.

Also the gay cowboy movie didn't win any awards? Sam Elliot is probably happy.

But seriously the one night I don't watch the oscars. And stuff like a movie and a actor I like actually win some oscars and will Smith punching Chris rock happen.
