This reply is kinda dumb though . "What would you do if someone disrespected your wife like that?" It's Phil. What do you think he would do? He'd do absolutely nothing or maybe even join in on the joke because: a. His marriage isn't real and b. he's fucking coward.
All these "what if" scenarios only work if Phil was a regular mature adult human male and to be fair I have doubts on all of those counts.
He would then find a way to make this all about him, and about how this whole event made him feel.

I might be misremembering but I'm fairly sure that Phil retconned the "pimpslap" incident to him NOT talking about the girl he talked to, but to some hypothetical situation.

It was the deboonk stream, and he said that he didn't say that he'd slap her but that her parents should've slapped her because if he ever acted like that when he was a kid his parents would've smacked him, he even put both hands on his chest to show how he totally didn't do it. Then he used the "if I actually did x crime I would be in jail right now" defense by saying that if he actually said he'd slap an 11 year old girl his Twitch, Youtube, Twitter etc. would've been taken away by now.

This is the most publicity the Academy Awards has received since the La La Land / Moonlight mix up. And DSP should know well that any publicity is good publicity. The jerkoff video is likely the only reason he’s still around today. When you're Phil any attention is better than no attention. His goal isn't for people to stick around, but for people to "swing by and support" when he needs it. So for people that don't know who he is, he just appeared as this nice righteous bloke which will make them open their wallets easier. This is a very big win for Phil.

If it wasn't for the kiddie gloves detractors wear when interacting with him, he would be in no position to talk about anything, let alone violence. In the past he claimed he would find someone and fuck him up due to Street Fighter, claimed he would go visit a troll to beat him up since he has his IP and dox, claimed he would fuck up detractors if they messed with him in real life because they're pussies(and he's right) and even claimed he would slap a kid if said kid disrespected him.

On one hand People should be more toxic towards Phil irl and often the comparison to Wings trolls is drawn but those don't engage him irl either, they just send him Wendy's Chili and Hookers, but on the other hand I'd argue Wings trolls exposed him to way more people which would have never heard about him in the first place which means he can grift more people. How does this not apply to Phil aswell? And Wings is way more cancellable than Phil, Phil is rather bland, he called people niggers 10 years ago and masturbated in front of children, that's like a week in Wings life. The best way was actually actually being "a coward" and filing a proper, reasonable report to Streamlabs like TJ did. Phil is not logical and if his ego wants to he will throw out any logic out of the window. Where were the trolls when he wanted to fight Vincent and then wanted to back out and just play pretend? Phil got destroyed mentally a decade, maybe even two decades ago and there is no fixing that. Phil will stay in his condo for the rest of his life.
