The same reason they think Kiwi Farms is populated by rightwing, unemployed, fat, white, male incels.
It's easier to admit other people are wrong when applying traits deemed socially and politically reprehensible in the current climate of culture. Predjudiced discrimination based on superficial traits is a lot easier to attack than engaging in discussion, especially for those who are unironically developmentally delayed individuals.
The fact of the matter is that they can't cope with the Kiwi Farms being a diverse forum of biological men and biological women, young and old adults, many ethnicities, many backgrounds. A forum with sisters and brothers, mothers and fathers. They can't cope with the idea of a passerby on the street, a normal person, being a Kiwi Farms user. It is frightening to them.
Someone they percieve to have authority likely told them "[X] is bad" and they will believe that person because the alternative is that the person they rely on for opinions could be wrong. These people cannot take that extra step to explore, think critically for themselves, and make compromise. They're fucking retarded.
