Alright, this take is either boring or late, but I genuinely wish this troon never got a thread.
Yeah, he's a creep with a history of child grooming. Yeah, he has delusions of grandeur and thinks he matters on the internet. Yeah, the "ratio" nonsense is just a stupid chase for a meaningless number intended to make the person feel special.
I think the problem is the personality, though. Our friend Sorrenti thrives off of attention and meaning, seemingly more so than most troons. It's why he ran for office, it's why he has a stream, and it's why he makes such a big deal out of ratioing people he doesn't like. Most troon cows, despite what they might claim, don't actually want a thread about themselves. This one baited his into existence once he realized he came up in the Destiny thread. He wants to be persecuted because it will give him more attention. It's why he's acting like it's some sort of war.
Other than his two horrendous wank tapes and stupid tweets, he doesn't do anything uniquely insane. The ratio bullshit is typical on twitter nowadays. But I do think that he'll sue and make the case as high profile as possible, all to get more attention. And money.
(And by the way, no matter your interpretation on Section 230, my money's on the "intelligent yet persecuted" troon vs the "neo-nazi alt right hate site." Accusing this site and its owner of having an agenda and thus invalidating Section 230 protections would be bullshit, but it wouldn't shock me if a judge agreed anyway, setting a dangerous precedent but making an otherwise popular decision.)
Sorrenti has gotten the attention and exposure he so desperately craves. We get a few laughs at his antics, but I think he's won the trade-off. Here's to hoping I'm wrong.
