Undertale

Maybe they could just be generic lost kids and have each one have their own dodging mechanics, so you'd have to watch which one gets attacked to be prepared. Like maybe one could be stuck in blue mode and would have to jump to dodge attacks, or one could be yellow and have to shoot the projectiles to stay safe.
I did see an idea for a version of the game where
you play as the other six children along with Frisk making your way through the game.

Admittedly, having more than one controlled character would kind of screw up the narrative, which is a main component of the game itself.

Oh god, I love the game but I'm actually annoyed Undertale is winning. Not because it doesn't deserve it, it's really a good game- but because the fanbase is goading people to vote for it. Most of its wins are not from people genuinely weighing out both choices and deciding undertale is better.

Fucking with GameFAQs polls is like an internet rite of passage.

In all fairness, Ocarina of Time won the last contest. They generally don't win twice in a row for the character contests, this shouldn't be any different.

It's actually nice to see a different game win for once- the fact it's generating enough salt to kill a man is a good bonus.

My favourite quote from beary's link: "This doesn't mean anything to anyone but you".

I was tempted to claim I was going to buy Undertale because of the thread to see how the OP would react, but I CBA to sign up to Gamefaqs.

Behold the salt, for it is magnificent.

EDIT: But wait, there's more!

It's like you get a glimpse at what Sarkeesian thinks the gaming community is like.

These contests have always been dumb since people can win prizes for predicting the most accurate results for each battle in the tournament. Thus, if you care about winning said prizes, you're obviously going to take the safe bets in each match up, and have an incentive to vote as such during the actual contest. The average GameFAQs user is outright incentivized to vote Ocarina of Time and Final Fantasy VII each time to try to win. The only good thing to come from this is that it gets people extra mad when an L-Block, Draven, or in this case--Undertale, comes in and sweeps the contest, since it destroys the brackets of all the boring people predicting that Link or Cloud, or Ocarina of Time or Final Fantasy VII will win, since they're actually theoretically losing the money from the items they may have won had that candidate not cleaned the floor with everyone else. This of course makes them extra salty, as the screencaps beautifully demonstrate.

It's official. Undertale wins by around 24,000 votes. Get your french fries ready, because we're gonna have a load of salt soon.

I'm not even that in love with Undertale, I thought it was pretty good, but not better than Ocarina, but the fact that it will cause so many tears and anger is what makes me glad it won.
