Yeah back in 2015-2017 the last good years of the internet you get to see the communities online bleed out into real life. Worst part about it is so many millennial women thought they needed to make being a geek/nerd all about them. This is also when you see peak feminism infiltrate the anime community. “Trannyism” absolutely hasn’t existed in any meaningful similar war before unless you’re just counting crossdressing. It doesn’t make sense to conflate the two. Same sex attraction has always and always will exist. It’s a material reality — if two dudes fuck that’s gay sex. The current idea of a trans identity is complete social contagion that would go away if the internet stopped existing. Most of them don’t even have “gender dysphoria.” The majority are straight men and were perfectly fine to be straight men the majority of their lives. You’ll always have perverts and fetishists but it’s not any kind of actual identity.
