You need to watch the 20 second last clip to see how it's just West Wing larpers. Apparently Jake Sullivan (the Lurch looking motherfucker who got dunked on by the AP State Department guy two or three times leading up to Ukraine getting attacked) didn't show up so the temp press briefer just closes up shop and everyone walks away like disinterested teenagers after just saying fugazzi stuff to sound important. Kamala's influence must be wearing off on them.

The "bombing begins in five minutes" joke (and it was obviously a joke) wasn't just off-the-cuff, it was off-the-record during a sound check. Or it was supposed to be off-the-record, but the press leaked it anyway. Just goes to show that nothing has really changed with the media.

Removing Biden from power before he could even reach the midterm election would be such a public display of weakness/incompetence on the part of the Democrat party that they'd get annihilated this November. The brand would be dead in the water. Only the diehard cultists would vote for them to remain in power.
Like I mentioned before, they'll sequester him in a closet somewhere and have the Cabinet address the media on issues of governance before dumping him for Kamala in an election year. That only happens in the (increasingly likely) event he dies in office and they can't pump him full of whatever adrenochrome treatment that kept RBG hanging on for so long.

One of the wakeup calls I had for just how long the press had been the pets of the Dems was when I decided to watch that CNN docuseries "the 60s/70s/80s/90s/00s/". Every. Fucking. Decade. You can see how the usual suspects carry the water for the Democrats and whine endlessly and scrutinize and undermine Republicans. "LBJ was rough spoken but a visionary" "Nixon did some good but he was corrupt and we always knew it see look here look at what he did" "Everything bad happened to Jimmy Carter but he was such a good boy" "Reagan was going to never get the office, Reagan will destroy us all, Reagan is insane" etc. The closest they get to paying any respect to any of the Republicans that they devoted their political eps to, was the Bush dynasty, which figures because the Bush Sr and Jr duo were both neocons and neocons are just the other side of the same dirty coin as neolibs.

And of course the 00s painted Obama as the second coming of Christ and you can tell they ended that series with the full expectation of picking up the 2010s series with Hillary getting coronated.

As Machiavellian as it sounds, I want there to be more shitshows between now and election day.

These creeps ruined everything to get rid of Orange Man and regain power. I want them to reap the fruits of their ruination. I don't even want "my" side to regain power, necessarily; I just want them to lose all of it, because power is what they covet above all else.

They will rule nothing and be miserable.
