Yeah the artwork is really good and beautifully animated. Nothing wrong with liking something for the pure simple reason of its nice to look at. But when you got people calling it peak wholesome romance I feel that's when shots need to fired and remind people of what it truly is.

The mangaka for Domestic girlfriend is a woman as well but I don't think the ideal male would be your step brother who slept with your sister. Clearly she just decided to go with a successful trope that has proven to work time and time again. Nerdy/geeky social awkward dude with no friends gets super hot girl. Bonus trope of guy being the only nice guy in the whole world and every other guy is an ass. It sells so why change it.

She says she's S+ Rank in all game modes but had to stop playing when she joined VTA. I don't play the game enough to know if that's impressive, so if there are any competitive Splatoon players in this thread it'd be enlightening to know.

S+ Rank is a Rank below the max rank in splatoon 2- Which is X rank- and consists of S+ to S+9 (I think?). The best equivalency I can put to words is that S+ is like Master Rank in Apex and X rank is Apex Predator. You have to grind S+ like 9 times to get to X Rank though; which is Solo-Queue only and you have to tough it through Nintendo's shitty Internet service. X rank is actually kind of like Predator in the fact there's a set amount of players only in X rank and if you fall below a certain mmr in X rank you derank back to S+9 I believe.

I turned it off, I very much prefer when she makes the chat rage. I still remember that one time some clueless developer gave her unlimited funds in some kind of gacha game. She fucked around randomly having no clue what to do and the chat had an aneurysm. It was glorious.

What they expected from watching nijiEN? hololive? Niji was always a mixed bag of males & females, not gender restricted groups, it was a matter of time that the males will arrive nijiEN and start interacting freely with the girls, just like nijiJP does.
