Suzuka Stella is graduating from Megalight Production citing health issues.

It should also be noted that 10 days ago, their only other member, Hien Madoka, also graduated.

If Stella continues with her graduation, they will no longer have any talents. They presently have auditions open for 2 more talents/models, but nothing has come up about it yet.

This sucks, Stella's really good and one Vsinger I enjoy. It's just terrible both Megalight talents got health issues around the same time. Is it burnout or physical health issues, I don't know but Stella's previous stream before the announcement hints at nothing related to health issue.

Anyways her guerilla singing stream is currently live.

Her last stream would be 1 April, 8.30pm JST.

Most Niji fans ARE Hololive fans - hence why they act that way. You'd be hardpressed to find someone who calls themselves a Nijifan and who also thinks that Fulgur didn't fuck himself over with his assessment of how Hololive is in shambles (except Scuttle, he's special)

I can back this up by saying that by all reason I still would say I'm a fan of Hololive and wouldn't have given NijiEN a chance if I didn't get burned out of Myth (among other reasons) because Irys/Council's "Quality" (over fast out the door Quantity gattling gun shotgun approach Nijisanji tribalfag-buzzword) took forever. I don't mean this in that they needed to debut Irys 2 months after Myth I mean it took them until July to debut Irys (the end date for their EN Vsinger was in January of that year) and nearly a year to debut Gen2/Council (Those debut days seem kind of fast in retrospect, Hololive Shotgun stick to the wall approach???).

You know some people are just going to defend her saying "Don't care, I'm Pomu" like the retards that they are. And yet people say Nijisanji is not an idol thing...

I can kind of see why people would be mad at it, but that'd be like being mad that Rosemi showed up to Elira/Enna/Millie's off collab. Which is retarded. the worst thing to sperg out is that there is a MALE (who is an actual homosexual) in the SAME ROOM as 2 FEMALES, IN A HOTEL. But you'd legitimately have to be schizophrenic to think anything is going to happen.

/vt/ Pomudachi were having a meltdown (as I mentioned here during the collab) so my guess would be most of the comments are from there, either genuine or baiting. Pomu's got hate maros and comments from /vt/ in the past (like that maro sent from someone bitching about how she was friendlier with Kiara than people in her own company or something) so my guess is that she just deletes obvious bait and moves on these days.

The worst part about having a fanbase that is predominantly Hololive-adjacent (like Pomudachis tend to be, myself included) is that Holofag Unicorns within the group will sperg out hard when she does something that's more Nijisanji-esque (like collaborating with a male, offline, as a surprise). Really unfortunate that she disabled comments, though because I normally go through timestamps posted in the comments for the clippable moments.

It's comforting to know that even the country that creates headlines when a train is 20 seconds late has a court system just as slow as anywhere else in the world.

Male vtubers hold no appeal for me. Honestly cuteness is a big part of the appeal of vtubers, and male characters just don't trigger that protective instinct. There's a reason "cute girls doing cute things" is a genre and "cute boys doing cute things" isn't.

More than that though, is that for some reason male vtuber voices always sound very incongruous to me. I know intellectually that female vtubers don't look like their avatars - in fact I've seen most of their doxes - but for some reason their voices rarely clash with their designs. Exceptions would be Towa and Coco, whose voices always did clash for me which is why I always had a difficult time getting used to them despite their obvious talent.

But with male vtubers the voices pretty much always feel very incongruous. Not sure why.

as far as I'm aware this "promise" was only in peoples heads. and honestly looking at the 2 NijiEN off collabs leading up to this, both of which had surprise unannounced guests, this really shouldn't have surprised anyone. the focus people seem to be having on the fact it was one of the lads kind of shows the motivation of those upset a bit more. If the random extra had been Selen or Rosemi I feel pretty confident in saying this flip out wouldn't be occurring.

The others that would fit what you're describing at the very least seem to be far less numerous and far far less vocal and would have gone largely under the radar otherwise.

In the broader sense I mean, I get being filtered by someone being part of a collab you don't want to watch, I've tuned out of collabs with folks like Kiara or Luna before because their voices grate on me. I just also don't make a huge stink of it, this whole thing somewhat reminds me of people sperging about Calli and the TT guys just self contained within Nijisanji this time. People would do well to just learn to adopt a mentality that it's ok to just not like and not watch some streams. one might say "but they're disappointed" but once you just accept that not every stream is going to be up your alley it becomes far less disappointing when one occurs. There'll be other collabs, other off collabs, and there's always other streams to watch too. Simple as that.

If I am going to watch a male streamer, it is going to be the ones I already have been watching and like. For me, male vtubers need to be as entertaining to me as a non-vtuber streamer to be worth watching. Someone like Roberu would pass that bar, but I don't speak moonrunes, unfortunately.

Female vtubers offer an objectively different experience from female streamers because they can’t just flop their tits onscreen to rake in the simpbux, but male streamers by and large already maintain their audience off of either their personality or their skill; so while female vtubers aren’t really catering to the same fans as titty streamers, male vtubers ARE competing with your typical male gaming/variety streamer.
