Edit: Also we just went through a whole month of Chechens warring away and not one confirmed report of a beheading. Does the Chechen evolve to a higher state of man with each war they partake in?
They wanna play big this time.
They really want to decapitate the whole country:
Kadyrov: "We dream to die jihadi way. Our brigade is happy. We see each day how young men die on the roads or some other way. And to die following in His path is a dream of every Muslim. I declare that we must finish what we had started, without stopping. We need to go in Kiev and take it over. If we were left next to Kiev, I'm sure we would have already taken it and brought order to it."

Last time it happened, Chechnya immediately regressed into a medieval tribalist Islamic caliphate and started slaughtering its neighbors. Another example is Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict that is flaring up again even as I type this despite both of them being former USSR republics.

Not all of these "different regions and nations" have "laws, tax codes and ideology" similar to yours or even remotely benevolent.

Just saying.
It didn't, Dudaev's regime was mostly secular. The problem was crime rates and unclear legal status of Ichkeryia. But guess what, things got worse after the First Chechen war. And the only confilct in civilized parts of USSR was Pridnestrovye. Baltic states, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Belorussia separated peacefully.

I'm fine with Muslims being Muslims and picking their own poison. The alternative is buying their loyalty with money. Guess what'll happen once the money runs out.

I was looking into how shit went down in the caucuses during the breakup and the years after. What struck out to me the most is that instead of going full on "fuck Russia and Russians", they instead decided to focus on killing the other local groups. It just amazes me that even after over 100 years of Russian rule, they could only focus on ancient grudges, picking right back up where their ancestors left off.

You can thank USSR for retarded border demarcation (just like Europeans did in their former Middle Eastern and African colonies), sweeping ethnic conflicts under the rug and relocating whole ethnicities.

Burger gov: They're coming closer to an agreement? Shiiiit, quick, throw in the chemical attacks!
I wonder if Biden acting like an insane retard screwed up the plan at all. I honestly don't think him talking about sending troops into Ukraine or vowing to remove Putin from power (while pleasing to the ears of the neocons) were part of the US diplomatic plan. The fact that they tried to walk it back only to have him continue to act retarded couldn't have helped. Or maybe it's an improved version of the madman strategy where the president is actually insane.

I like how everybody's just assuming that somebody will magically "rebuild Ukraine" after the war. Who exactly will finance that, you think? I'm sure that all the western companies will flock to a corrupt, destroyed client state like they did in the last 30 years before the war (hint: they didn't).
Honestly I feel for those now living in the soon to be impoverished state of Ukraine. It's gonna stay a shithole for at least a few decades, if not longer. We'll probably be looking at double digits percentage of population loss after this.

The Russian empire before them bears some of that responsibility too, the USSR inherited a bad situation there to begin with. Honestly I don't think it would have mattered how the borders were for some of those conflicts, there would still be bad blood and violence.

Why Macron such a raisin loving autist? It really seems like he has Putin on speed dial. He made yet another call.
He's literally calling every other day. Maybe he is just lonely?

I remember reading a funny French article at the end of February that laid blame on Putin's decision to attack on Macron. The day before Putin greenlit the shitshow Macron visited him and they spent six hours talking in private. Whatever was said is unknown, but Putin came out from these talks visibly pissed off, which is very uncommon for him.

To be fair if the US federal government fell apart and it was complete chaos many in the western states would want to solve the Californian refugee question.

(Conservative Californians are fine, but the ones that bitch about how it’s not California while also bitching about how expensive California is are extremely irritating).

Maybe Macron just wants to talk to a real man and he can't find one in all of France.
